What was Disney thinking??!?!?!?

I had to google this song. Hasnt reached Europe yet, or at least the radio we listen to. To be honest I don't really care for the song. But I can see my 8 and 6 year old digging the beat.. Does have a nice beat thing going on..

BTW is this Robin Thicke , Alan Thick's son.. The dad from Growing Pains.. need to google.....

Okay if it is like NYE- I hope you don't let them watch the ball drop on TV as I am sure they will be playing a top 40 hit song with stars wearing nothing. Preschool shows are not seen on TV after a certain hour for a reason. I think expectations can be adjusted after hours. Now if you are offended by the song that is another thread all together. But the tone of the post was can you BELIEVE what DISNEY did! And well yes I can under the circumstances. Just out of curiosity what other songs are typically played during this after hours dance party?

I love you like a love song baby.... over and over again...

The "11pm on vacation" is handled (for my family anyway) like "staying up past midnight on NYE" or "staying up late for a slumber party". You take a nap in the middle of the day, eat a good dinner with protein and veggies, and then you get to stay up way past your bedtime to dance with Disney characters.

But more importantly, as we seem to have all conceded that this song WAS playing and it DID happen and stargazertechie was NOT lying ... who gets BayouMickey's $30?

:earsboy:

Churros for everyone! Well.... at least for the first 8 who chime in!

I want one!

Here is my opinion on this. Disney is a private company. As such, Disney World is on private property. Their only obligation is to keep you physically safe, nothing else. If you don't like the music they are playing for example, you have the right to leave the park/property and go somewhere else. What you don't have the right to do is demand they turn off/change the music. You can certainly ask, but they are not required to.

At least they didn't put the lyrics on a screen so kids could sing along like they do in the CBJ.:rotfl2: Where are all of you on that topic? Same amount of outrage?

that don't count.. that's "classic" and it doesn't mean what you think it does..
