What type of bag do u use in the parks?

I bought a Baggallini for our last WDW trip and I switched back to our regular backpack about half way through the trip. Although it has a "bottle pocket" as many have mentioned, a WDW 20-oz soda or water does not fit :(. In addition I found the bag to be uncomfortable to carry once I had it loaded up with my camera and rain ponchos. When I would try to hang the bag off one shoulder and it would slide off. If I wore it as a messenger bag across my body the bag was on my back and the strap "lifted and separated" my chest.

I have had two other bags for WDW. The first is a mini-backpack from Eagle Creek.

The second is an Ameribag Healthy Back Bag: http://www.ameribag.com/catalog/home. It's like the Baggallini but designed to stay put on your shoulder.

I used a backpack. Even though I did bring a fannypack I didn't need both - luckily. My backpack was pretty filled with everything from a camera to lightweight jackets, medicines, etc.

We use a small backpack that is actually a diaper bag. Our kids are now 9, 7 and 4 but it still comes in handy, it has enough pockets, and it's small enough and light enough, yet I can fit everything in it that we'll need. I also like that I can wear it as a backpack, hold it by the handle or use one strap and sling it over my shoulder like a purse.

I have never been to Disney before but I am going the first week of January. What type of backpack's/fanny pack's do they allow to be worn on the rides. I want to make sure we don't have one that doesn't allow my wife, daughter and myself to all get on a ride.

You can bring just about any size backpack onto a ride. For the bumpier ones I put the pack on the floor and put my leg through the straps to keep it from going anywhere.

I have a backpack that I've used for my last 2 trips and plan to use for my upcoming trip as well. It fastens diagonally across one shoulder of the body. Its larger than a fannypack, but smaller than a regular backpack. It's very light weight and I hardly notice I'm wearing it. I'm very small being barely 5 ft tall. I'm a mom. So, I'm the one that ends up having to carry everything. I get back pain from carrying a purse around all day. However, I've never suffered any back pain with this backpack. I've carried it on all of our vacations since 2001 and on field trips with my job (I'm a teacher) and it still looks as good as the day I purchased it. It's made by Jansport.

I like that style too, not too big but big enough. Thanks for all the input!

I fit all my stuff in my big purse.
The only problem I can see with that though is accidently leaving it somewhere, so I don't know...

I haven't been to disney before, this will be our first trip. I bought this bag to use. I think it will work really well.

I didn't want to use a back pack because I didn't want to have to take it off my back everytime I needed to get into it. I wear glasses and have prescription sunglasses that I change back and forth a lot so I thought a messenger bag type would be better.

The little lightweight nylon backpacks. It's actually one that I purchased at the main gift shop at MGM. It's black and has Sorcerer Mickey on it and says "Where Magic Dwells." There is a small pocket on the front for my cell. It's perfect for camera, wallet, lipstuff, comb, el-cheapo rain ponchos, etc. I LOVE it!
