ok, So, I have been through a ton of threads will all of your very impressive Disney Photos!!

What is your favorite camera that you take to the parks? Do you take more than one??
I used to be more a photographer in my earlier days, and would love to get back into it... Looking for what your favorites are..

Thanks!!

I haven't been yet since I got a dSLR. I always used my olympus pns in the past - however it had a sudden and untimely death last year on the Disney Magic - something about too much wine and it being dropped - at least that is what I heard. :rolleyes1

We are leaving in LESS THAN A MONTH!!! :cool1: :thumbsup2

and I will be bringing my Canon 30D - *maybe* my Canon XTi as well depending on if I get it back from being cleaned on time. Then I will see how I feel after lugging the heavier 30D around all day. If it is too much I wil go to the XTi - or add to DH's load.

I just got back and took my Pentax k100d for the first time. I used a Kodak z740 and Canon A310 in the past, but nothing beats having a dSLR.

our last trip i took my film eos slr, next trip it will be what ever dslr i have by then( presently have a rebel xt, planning on upgrading the body)

Nikon D80 is with me everywhere I go at Disney - OK, I do sometimes leave my bag with my husband when I go to the bathroom.

I have not been (to the parks at least) since I bought my K100D. I plan to carry it and our S2 IS. DW and DDs will likely use the S2 more often, but I want to have the zoom around in case I come across something that could go away before I have the chance to change the lens to the tele.

Last time we only had...? a p&s. This time we will be taking the D200, whatever video camera DH decides to buy, and possibly the SD600+waterproof housing...:thumbsup2

Everyone please hope for me that DH gets a less expensive camcorder so I can get a 70-300mm and SD600 underwater housing... :rotfl: LOL

I have used a Canon dSLR at WDW since I got my first one in late 2001.
90+% of my photos were taken with either a 24-85 or 24-105 lens.

In '01 I carried around my Nikon N70 film SLR and a Sony HI8 video camera. (4 nights, about 5 rolls of pics and 4 hours of video)

In '05 it was mostly the Canon S30 digital PnS along with a few rolls with the N70 and again the Sony video camera. (7 nights, about 600 digital pics, 3 rolls of film and 1-2 hours of video)

Last year was just my Nikon D50 dSLR. (3 nigfhts, over 1300 pictures)

Later this year I'll only have my D50 again. Though since the kids will be with us I'll probably also bring along the Sony video camera. Though I think my BIL is also bringing his video camera so I may have him take most of the video and I'll do most of the stills. DW may use the S30, but for me its just the D50 and how ever many lenses I think I'll need for that day.

Last trip I had my Pentax *ist DL DSLR as well as my old Pentax K1000 film camera, which had been with me at WDW on one or two trips in the '90s... I used the film camera for black/white and the fisheye photos (as my fisheye lens doesn't get 180' coverage on a DSLR). My wife carried her Canon SD600, as did one of my sister-in-laws, while the other carried her old 2mp Minolta X20. They did spend some time cursing the PnS low-light limitations but on the other hand, the movie modes were really handy sometimes.

Next trip, I hope to have a Pentax K10D (or its successor) with me. :thumbsup2

And the tripod will definitely be coming with me again!
