What tourist attraction do you visit in your own state?

For us here in Michigan, my family loves to go up to the Mackinac Bridge for a few days! We love the Island and other touristy things up there!!

The art museums, the Air and Space museum, very occassionally the history museums, especially if they have an exhibit I am interested in, the theatre and the ballet.

Space Needle, Science Center, Pike Street Market, mountains, lakes, rivers.......LOTS!! ;)

We live literally right across the street from The Henry Ford (formerly known as Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village). We haven't been there since they re-opened the village earlier this month after remoldeling, but we bought an AP so we can go whenever we want. (Can't wait to see it - I've heard a lot of comments about how it looks like "a Disney theme park"....well folks, it was redesigned by Disney!

Well, I would have to say the casinos. Also, we love to go to Mystic.

Any baseball park in any state will do :p

I haven't seen much out here in OR as of yet, but Multnomah Falls is gorgeous and the coast is incredible.

Dollywood, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies

Peggy

Virginia Beach, Busch Gardens, Paramount's King's Dominion, Luray Caverns, Mount Vernon, Monticello...the list is endless! But yes, we do visit all of those, and when someone visits from out of state, we drag them along too!

The Indianapolis Childrens Museum (largest in the world), as many of the state parks as we can, the Indy Zoo, and Holiday World.

Mammouth Cave National Park. Been on some of the tours so often that I sorta know the spiel their gonna give in each 'room'. And I'd like to go again soon, lol.

The Casinos (although not very often), steel pier, Wildwood boardwalk, Cape May beach and lighthouse, the NJ State Aquarium in Camden, Six Flags Great Adventure.....lots of places we do day trips to.

Six Flags Great America (reluctantly, my kids get free tickets from school every year so we have to go  )

All of the museums and American Girl Place in Chicago

Arlington Park International Racecourse (fun fun fun!)

Cedar Point and the Cleveland Zoo are the ones we go to the most. :)
