What to write on a coach's plaque

Help! I need to buy end of year plaques for my son's coaches but I am at a complete loss as to what to have put on there. Any suggestions?

What a season! We appreciate the hard work!

If the team had a good season you can put their record on the plaque.

Try to get the coach's name and year on it as well as the team name.
 
I would include the coaches name, the name of the team and division, the season/year he/she coached, and if there is some saying or motto that the coaches use.
 
What sport is it? You could go with a famous quote for that sport or from another coach.

I would go with something that could be displayed in a home or office without being overly trophy-like. Most plaques and such like that are really only displayed for a year or two. The others are kept around a lot longer. I'm just saying this from experience of a household of coaches and teachers
 

One of my most prised things I have is what DDs team did for me last year.

The kids all signed a soccer ball and each put a small saying on it. I hope they do the same thing this year it's real nice to have put up.

Now all the teams have been doing it for basketball and a Bat for baseball at the school she goes to.
 
When I was "team mom" for my son's football team, I bought them clocks and just had the year and team name engraved. I also gave them each gift cards to local restaurants.
