My Netflix queue is getting low, so I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone had any suggestions on movies I could add.

If you like old movies, I highly recommend "You Can't Take It With You"

If you like chick flicks, I love Return to Me. :)

I'm watching "My So-called Life" on DVD.

I do like chick flicks, what's that about. ETA - Never mind, I just realized I could watch the preview on Netflix. It does look good though, and I've added it to my queue.

I should probably add some infor about what kinds of movies I like. I like "chick flicks," as well as comedies, and just about anything Disney, (obviously.)

My favorite movies, (just to give you an idea of what I like,) are; Pretty Woman, Enchanted, Titanic, the Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Sweet Home Alabama.

Stardust is AWESOME. It never came to our theater, but DH saw the preview in the movie rental place and decided to rent it. It's SO good. It's part fairy tale, part adventure story. It's sort of like "Princess Bride" but with more funny characters. Flying pirates, witches, fallen stars, humans, and a wall between 2 worlds...it's fantastic!

I actually already have that in my queue! :goodvibes

Yours, Mine and Ours, the newer one with Rene Russo and Dennis Quaid, that was really good.

3:10 to Yuma with Christian Bale and Russell Crowe, enough said...

Peaceful Warrior with Nick Nolte, really good!

Try "The Painted Veil", it has the same lead as "The Illusionist". Really Good.

I liked The Count of Monte Cristo. I was suprised.

Music and Lyrics. I love Hugh Grant in this movie.

Singin' in the Rain. I love that movie too.

Also great chick flicks are The American President, Sabrina (the remake with Harrison Ford), Two Weeks Notice, and Legally Blonde (but NOT Legally Blonde 2--that was horrific!).

Incidentally, your favorite movies are also some of my favorites!

I'm going to list movies I feel like watching. :)

Stand and Deliver

The Man Without a Face

Jaws

Fried Green Tomatos

Coming to America

Silence of the Lambs

If you can sit through old movies, "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" is an excellent movie. One of the best!

Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle! Both Disney beaters, IMO, courtesy of Studio Ghibli.

"Knocked Up" was interesting in a pot smoking, premartial sex way. There is something for the guys in this flick.

Haven't seen anything worth value lately.

I have "The Ten" in my Q that looks promising.

Right now I have an anime movie and a old horror flick by John Carpenter at home.
Slim pickings for sure.

I've seen the American President, and parts of Sabrina. I love Legally Blonde too. You're right, the sequel did not hold up to the original. I think I may have seen Two Weeks Notice too.

Knocked Up was the last movie I saw, just sent it back today. I thought it was good. I love Katherine Heigel, I want to see her new movie 27 Dresses, but it'll be awhile before that comes out on DVD.

We are long time Netflix fans... recently we've been watching their great selection of Bollywood movies. Most are subtitled but they are fun movies and very good.

One of our very favorites is called "Veer-Zara"! It was phenomenal! Our favorite english one is called "Hollywood-Bollywood". Try them you might find a new passion like we have!
