What to pack

This the the first time I have ever been in December. Florida weather is kinda like Texas weather in that it's sporadic. What I want to know is what types of clothing should we bring? Pants and short sleve shorts? Jackets just in case?

Yes, I think you have it exactly. We were comfortable in jeans and short sleeves, with jackets in the mornings and evenings. If you have the Weatherbug on your home computer, plug in the zip code 32830 to get the local temps and forecasts as your trip draws near so you can see the expected highs and lows during your stay. We did that, and it really helped knowing what to expect. Have a great time!

You need to take absolutely everything you have...from swimsuits to coats, hats and gloves. Most nights the temps will dip into the 40s and 50s. If you plan on seeing shows like Illuminations or Fantasmic at night, you'll want to be bundled up tight.

In fact, there will even be days where the temperature won't hit 60. Take a little bit of everything and you won't be forced to spend an exhorbitant amount to buy clothing just to survive your trip.
