We leave on Saturday and the 10 day forcast is calling for mostly highs in the mid to upper 60's and lows in the the upper 40's low 50's.

This is what I was planning to bring for the kids:

2 pairs of shorts (just in case it decides to get warmer)
t-shirts
light weight pants/sweat pants for DS1
jeans and track pants for DS8
zippered, hooded sweatshirt for mornings/evenings
lightweight long sleeved, long pants (not footed) pj's

Do you think I should pack some lightweight long sleeved shirts? I wasn't sure if the short sleeved and sweatshirt would be enough at night?

Any other recommendations. The last time we went was mid August so it was easier :)

If you plan on watching Illuminations at Epcot it can be down right chilly! I'd pack something a bit heavier for that night. I made the mistake of packing too light last year and we froze (when you have Michigan folks saying it's cold, it's cold! :rotfl2:), so I would pack a few warmer things for at night.

We just got back and a couple days it was in the 40s and windy and WE FROZE!!!!!! And we're from MN and had all our winter gear on...I'd take more warm clothes than cool for sure...come evening it cooled right back down and got very nippy even on nice days...none of us wore shorts and a few days it got above 70 but not for long...we did swim...very briefly and used the hot tub more than the pool.

We're leaving tomorrow and I'm trying to pack. I noticed it wasn't going to be warmer than 67. I'm thinking maybe I need to pack more pants than shorts. It will be warmer than OH for sure but dang if you go to FL - you're hoping for 70 at least.

We are from OH also :) and leaving on Wednesday. We went this time last year and it was so cold! My dd's 2nd bday was Feb. 20 & it was 49 degree's! This year it does seem warmer! We have a w/d in our unit so I'm bringing shorts/capri's for everyone. The older kids are bringing a hoodie to put over their short sleeve shirts if it gets chilly. We will all have jeans on and warm clothes for the flight out of DTW. We usually aren't out late at night b/c of the 2 smaller children. I really really really was hoping to hit up Blizzard Beach this year & it looks like we wont.

I would bring warm clothes and long sleeved Tees for the most part, but also dont forget the shorts and short sleeved tees and even swim suits. You never know and the pools are heated too. WE were there last December and when we got to Disney it was in the fourties and when we left it was in the upper 70s! Just prepare for all sorts of weather in FL :) HAve a fun trip.:cool1:
