What to Expect?

So I just got accepted as an attractions cast member & I'm freaking out I know that there is a long way to go before January 6th but I have some questions for previous CP participants. What is it like when you first arrive? What are the managers/supervisors like? What are the work schedules like? What should I bring with me for the apartments (mattress, TV, etc)? Do CP participants get discounts for themselves & family? I would really appreciate any help. I can't concentrate on anything else right now. My good friend from work also got accepted so we are roomming!

First, Congratulations!!!
The apartments are fully furnished so you don't have to bring a mattress. talk with your friend and work out between the 2 of you who is going to bring a tv and cables for the tv and also for internet. i believe the cp website when you log in gives you a list of things to bring. One thing you absolutely CANNOT forget is your license and social security card! I forgot my social security card so i had to go to the soc security office down there and apply for a new one... it sucked...
CP's get a main entrance pass- so you can get up to 3 people in for free 6 times. you also get a discount on hotel rooms and merchandise
also you, as a disney cast member, get free admission to the parks whenever you want! it's pretty freakin cool!!!

Congrats on being accepted! There are a lot of blogs/vlogs out there from CPs that talk all about being accepted and what the CP is like One thing you can do is go to youtube and type in disney college program and check out some of those videos!! There are a lot of really awesome ones!

What is it like when you first arrive?

They have info on the site after you accept the offer. I thought it was similar to arriving at college. Lot of lines. Lot of paperwork. People moving their stuff into their apts. Stuff like that.

What are the managers/supervisors like?

varies by location. 8 of mine were great. 2 were jerks.

What are the work schedules like?

Your ID will work the same as a park ticket. You can get a fastpass with it. The same rules apply to getting fastpass as with a park ticket - waiting a certain amount of time between tickets
