What to do with Expiring points?

I have 12 points that were banked last year, that will expire feb 09. I will not be able to use them before expiration. Any suggestions?

You can always rent a 1-night studio, or if you are in a generous mood contact one of the make a wish organizations and make a reservation for them.

That's enough for a night in a studio. If you want to perhaps give them away, you might want to contact a charity like Give Kids the World, or a local group in your area that could use a night for a child that is ill.

You can not transfer banked points, but you could possibly rent out a night in a studio on the Rent/Trade board.

That is enough for 2 nights a studio at HHI off season. Also someone might like 1 night at Vero before of after a DCL cruise- so the points might be useful to someone.

Why not post them for rent/transfer on the rent boards- someone might need a few points to complete a reservation.

Do you have any reservations made with this year's points that you could have Member Services reallocate the points on so that you can use the 12 banked points towards that reservation which would free up 12 points from this year and you could bank those?

They must not be trained that way, or it's more work for them. I had to ask them to do that last year.
