What to do on New Years Eve

Hi everyone. I've got a surprise trip planned for the kids for this December 28th - Jan 2nd. We took our first family trip to Disney Thanksgiving of 2007 and absolutely loved every single minute of the trip. We booked a Disney cruise for March 2009 as soon as we got back, but the kids really want to go back to Disney.

It will be myself (35), dh (34), ds (9) and dd(7).

Any suggestions on what we should plan for New Years Eve? We did Hoop Dee Doo on Thanksgiving and it was great. I do think we may do the Polynesian Luau (sp?) this trip.

Anyway, would love to hear suggestions.

It has been nearly 10 years since I spent NYE in Disney. They had many options available to choose from in the parks. We decided to see The DOobie Brothers in MGM,which was included in the price of admission. It was on AMerica street and they recreated the ball drop in Times Square. There were also extra fireworks shows. I might suggest booking a restaurant then checking out the schedule as it gets closer. You can always cancel your ADR if you don't like the other options.
