What to do in Niagara Falls?

We are staying on the Canadian side and will be there for 3 days. Other than the Falls and the Maid of the Mist what can we do? There are 11 of us going, from Gramma and Grampa to my 5 year old neice. Thanks for any advice

There is a virutal reality ride over the falls
The Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum

Stop further down the river at the Whirlpool, more natural beauty, and if up for it, the cable car. Niagara Falls is such an awesome display of nature, so pretty.

There is a place called Marineland that has dolphin shows, animals and rides thet is very close to the falls. You could always take the people mover buses for which you can buy a day pass. They take along the river from Marineland to a beautiful floral clock. There are a lot of museums on Clifton Hill as well as shops and retaurants. (Mama Mia's is good for italian food)

First get yourself a whiskey barrel. Empty the barrel (your call as to how you do this). Second, climb in barrel. Third, have someone nail the top on the barrel. Fourth, roll barrel into the river. Fifth, float over the falls in barrel. Sixth, send video of your experience to Extreme Sports Network. Seventh, begin planning next vacation as soon as you are released from the hospital.

I'd definitely recommend the Butterfly Conservatory, Marineland, Maid of the Mist, the casinos, and the outlet shopping as well (Prime outlets on the American side).

There is a restaurant (need reservations) at the top of an observation-type thing. It turns very slowly, and if you make ressies for 7 or so, it will be dark before you leave, and you can see the lights on the falls. Beautiful.

One of the best things I did in NF was a Whirlpool Jet ride...it was AWESOME!! You certainly got soaked but we all loved it...I had a 6 year old , a 8 year old and my 70 year old mom on it with me!!

The tour behind the falls on the Canadian side didn't do much for me (you basically look out through holes in the rock at the backside of the falls), but the tour down alongside the falls on the American side was fabulous! You definitely do get wet.

Caution: my mom's video camera got wet and ruined on the Maid of the Mist. Better to leave it in the car.

The restuarant msdznyduck was talking about is Skylon Towers(sp?). They have 2 places to eat there. One is a buffet and the other is a very nice sit down. Me and DH ate at the sit down and had a excellent meal and the view was breathless. They have a arcade in the main level and you take these yellow elevators that go on the outside of the building up to the top. They also have a observation deck that you can pay to just go up there.

We also liked the Butterfly Conservatory and the Maid of the Mist boat ride. There is also a place that you can walk along the water just past the main falls that gives you a great feel for the power of the water.

Don't forget about Planet Hollywood and Hard Rock Cafe there too. We ate at both and really enjoyed taking the People Mover, the drivers tell you intersting tid bits along the way. Definately worth it to try at least one day.

If you have the time, might I suggest a side trip to Niagara on the Lake, its a beautiful town with shopping and theatre, in a very historic area. http://www.niagaraonthelake.com/ if u want a break from the main areas of Niagara Falls. Perhaps a jaunt to the welland canal http://www.infoniagara.com/d-att-canal.html. If you want to stay strictly in the Falls, dont forget some of the outlet malls, if you're into shopping.
