What to do? CP? 1900PF?

CP - Candlelight P.

Well, we had our schedule lined out until I was able to snag a couple CP ADR's. Being that they are 2 TS, we need to make some decisions. I got two options to present to our group of 14 for the CP.
San Angel Inn @ 3:40 (Show 8:15)
Biergarten @ Noon (Show 5PM)

This was our Epcot day:
Day 2/AM EP/Lunch?/Break?/San Angel 5:00/PM EP/Illuminations
This was our AK day:
Day 5/AM AK/Lunch?/Break?/1900PF 4:35/PM AK/New Night Stuff-ROL (high travel time to ADR)

Options
1)No Change - No CP - Keep SA at 5PM
2) Cancel SA @ 5, Go at 3:40 (SA) DDP, Go to CP at 8:15, Illuminations @ 9:30 (Cancel 1900 PF Next day due to 2 credits for CP)
3) Cancel SA @ 5, Go at Noon (BG) DDP, Go to CP at 5PM, Illuminations @ 9:30 (Cancel 1900 PF Next day due to 2 credits for CP)
4) Cancel SA @ 5, Go at Noon (BG) OOP$$, Go to CP at 5PM, Illuminations @ 9:30, Keep 1900 PF Next day

Note (1900 PF is scheduled for dinner on our AK day and is taking up park time for travel)

What time is better for CP? Is 815 better because it is dark? Would it still be easy to make it to the reserved location for illuminations? We have 14 (6 Adults, 14yo,13yo,11yo,10yo,9yo,8yo,,6yo,infant)
What would you do?

You don't say your dates, BUT if CP is important to you and you're going when there is a really popular narrator (such as NPH) you'll need a dining package...
14 people in a long line for 45 minutes to an hour to get seated may be rough on the little ones.
If you chose the later one, you would all be getting out scrambling for IllumiNations spots. Might be better to do the earlier lunch and earlier CP and keep the kids happy. Schedule your FPsite for between lunch and CP.
Also, in the past WS has opened at 9 am during holiday season, and it's now been announced that Frozen will open at 9, which leads me to believe that other WS stuff may follow suit.

Also, I wouldn't do 1900 on my AK day. if you drop your TS, eat at Flame Tree Bar-b-cue instead. Best CS in all WDW! IMHO. lol

Thank You all for the info! I'm pretty sure we will cancel 1900PF. It's just going to take too much park time from the AK if we keep it.

The group wanted to go to the 8:15 instead of the 5PM...they wanted it dark

I have other options now though. I cancelled the BG and was able to get both an Akershus Lunch and breakfast for us to choose from..in addition to the 3:40 SA. So we can do Breakfast, Lunch or an early dinner. All are for the 8:15 shows. What do you think?

It's depends on your family... Are they able to go, go, go from 7:30 am until 10 or 11 pm? How far away is your resort. Could you do early am Epcot breakfast then: Frozen, Soarin', TTC (some with FP), do a bit of the WS, then rest and return for CP and IllumiNations? Or would you be better starting later with organized FP and stay all day?
DH and I are active seniors and we no longer "do" dusk 'til dawn! But if you guuse can all do it, I'd say breakfast at Akershus to get that ppo ADR!

We have 14 in our group. Ages from 37 to 4months. I think it may be hard to get everyone together ppo. :/ 10 of us are staying at CBR and 4 at POP. Anyone that don't want to go as early can meet up later, but we do plan on doing all ADR's together. Also, anyone who wants to leave for a break can and anyone that wants to stay all day can.

Sounds good, since you all want to.go to CP, I'd maybe do lunch at Akershus, and plan FPs around that. That way people can still get up late or take a midday break if they so choose.
