what to do...as adults only

We really enjoy our "kid free" trips now that the "kids" are all grown up. If they were still littles, I may have a nostalgic moment or two, so expect them.

1. Make ADRs at places where they do not serve "kid food". Try new flavors. Enjoy World Showcase at night.
2. Ride "the Big Kid rides...ride together where rider swap may have been required before. Release your inner child.
3. Take time to really enjoy the theming of the parks. Find the hidden gardens. Walk the trails in AK ... slowly.
4. Enjoy adult beverages and entertainment at venues in Disney Springs or at the resorts.
5. Strike up a conversation with random other adult only guests. I have had more fun learning about others experiences at WDW than many would think. Some of the best advice and stories have come from fellow guests on grownup trips over a cocktail or two. I've met retired CMs, current CMs, Chefs from other countries, all kinds of interesting people.
6. Go according to your own schedule. Do not underestimate the "Magic" of not adherin to the childen's schedule. No naps unless you want one. No meltdowns, unless you're about to have one. No bedtime that doesn't fit your own. Simply Magical.

We always spend a bit more time in Epcot and catch more of the shows and movies. My personal favorite is the British Invasion band at United Kingdom (and they do different sets each time so try to catch them more than once). We usually try to do a couple of different restaurants that we hadn't tried before (or done for a long time).

If you're big Disney fans and don't mind the cost, I would really recommend a tour. We loved Keys to the Kingdom (also the Epcot Segway tour but that one unfortunately doesn't run anymore).

And most obviously - we enjoy just walking around and spending more time taking in the atmosphere, shops, watching miscellaneous entertainment, a bit more time at Disney Springs, etc.

We don't have kids yet, so we've only gone just us. Some things we really enjoy - visiting and exploring other resorts, hours by the pool, taking our time in shops and strolling around Epcot and down Main Street, the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. From what I hear with kids it's just nice to do this on your schedule and really soak it all in

I don't have kids so my trips are always "adults-only". We make sure to tour the other resort hotels with stops at the bar for a drink. Epcot is especially fun, taking the time to look through all of the shops and enjoy the dining options. I also make sure to view the late parades and shows to take advantage of the smaller crowds.

Almost all of my trips have been adult only. For us it's all thrill rides, Epcot strolling, AK strolling, and cocktail lounges. Not necessarily in that order.

I would want to do KTTK tour and take my time enjoying the WS. It will be some time before we get an adults only trip, but we're already talking about the things we would like to spend some time doing.
