What to do? Advice, please!

Hey folks,

I posted something about possible AP rates for March yesterday but got no responses, so I guess everyone else is in the same boat I am on that - no idea yet!

I realize March is during Peak season, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice. DH and I are AP holders and want to visit during Spring Break (we're both teachers, yay for a week off!). Due to insane airfare pricing, we're going to drive from Texas - normally one long day plus a short morning drive the next. The dilemma is: when do we book? AP rates aren't out yet, and there is never any guarantee there will be any at all, and with the 4/3 plan, we'd have to buy a 1 day park hopper and we wouldn't be able to stay for all 3 free days (darn drive time). Plus I was hoping to do a 2-resort trip, which you can't do with this package. AP rates are potentially better, but the question is whether or not there will even be any.

Should I keep waiting and hope AP rates are released in time? Or should I go ahead and book, risking a cancellation fee if I want to change to room-only? Is this confusing enough? TIA!

We went ahead and booked the 4/7 deal for spring break. We're also hoping for AP rates, since we like to do split-stays and the deal doesn't make that easy. I'm hoping something better (for us) will come out.

If they dont have the rooms full, IMO they will open them up for discounts. The empty rooms mean they are losing money each day, so I think they'll try to fill them up.

Wish we could drive there -- hate to fly...:)
