What to do about HHI ressie?

Hi, I just want to get some feedback on something, what would you do if you had a ressie for HHI 6/12 to 6/17 for a 2 bedroom (5 nights, Sunday thru Thursday nights) and you couldn't use it now? Should I try to get a new ressie for a 2 bedroom in August (good luck right!) should I rent it out, trade it for something else or just cancel all together? I own at SSR and my use year is February. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I'm new at this so I'm not quite sure what to do........

I would try to get a 2BR in August. You have not yet reached the 7 month mark for most dates in August, and 2BR's are the most plentiful type of villa at HH. I think you will have a decent shot, though you may have to wait list for a night or two. In 2003, I could have had a 2BR for our July trip for a long time after the 7 month mark, but I got the last studio and a 1BR never ended up opening up.

I am with Doctor P - Try to switch your ressies to August. You never know about availability until you call. Good luck.

Definately try for August. I had to wait for the 7 month window and was able to book a one-bedroom for the first week (7/31-8/5).
