What time?

What time do you leave to get to the airport? We are flying home from MCO and will spend the morning at Downtown Disney. What time would you leave there for the airport? (We can't do check in there as we have two carseats.) Flight is at 6.30pm

We check in at DtD then use bag drop at the airport to get rid of the car seat. Takes about 5 mins as there is usually no queue

We leave about 2 1/2 hrs before a flight maybe a bit earlier depending on what we are doing.

If booked with Virgin holidays it is free, If booked direct with Virgin atlantic or a 3rd party it is $10 each..Well worth the money in my opinion.
Don't be nervous it is easy, you drop your luggage off and then you have all day luggage free to enjoy your last day..
We usually drop the luggage of then go for breakfast then either go to a park or a final bit of shopping..

WEEEELLLLL worth the money, it frees up that last day so much we've find. get there early if Economy as there is usually a very long very hot queue which we feel bad (but not that bad, sorry) walking past as there is a separate queue for PE.

Oh, until the kids are sick that is, happened twice and ends up with us buying new t-shirts lol

DW is a worrier about getting to the airport and getting through security in plently of time. So even with DTD check in we are normally at the airport about 3 - 3 1/2 hours before the flight.

For the DIY holiday this year I am guessing we will be going to the airport after breakfast

love dtd check in, so handy to give the bags over to VA staff and all the airport security is there so no need to worry

I shall be doing that this year and bag dropping our car seats at the airport

I missed not doing DTD check in when we flew from orlando to mexico as i had to spend ages at the airport checking in instead of a last day in the park
