I'm planning on making a PS for the Fantasmic Dinner Package at Hollywood & Vine for May 25th 2004. That means the 90 day period starts TODAY!! However, I can't find any indication of what time Fantasmic will start as it is still too far in advance to be on the official disney website.

Has anyone been to WDW at this time of year who may recall what time Fantasmic starts?

Also, does anyone recall what time the MK evening parades start at the end of May as I would also like to make Cinderella Royal Table PS's for the 27th May so that would the parade started just after eating?

Thanks
Brendan

Based on last year's timings, there is likely to be one showing of Fantasmic on that day at 9pm. Tuesday is an Early Entry day at MGM, so this is probably going to be one of the busiest days. Could you change it to another day? On the Friday and Saturday (both the weekend before and the weekend after the 25th), there will probably be 2 showings of Fantasmic - the first at 9pm and the second at 10.30pm. The second showings of all the parades and shows are much quieter than the first. Again, though, Saturday is an EE day at MGM.

I think you will find that Spectromagic will only be on Wednesdays and Saturdays at that time of year. Saturday, whilst not an EE day is always extremely busy at MK. Wednesday would be your best option. I think it's likely to be on at 8.45pm with Wishes at 9.30pm. Share a Dream Come True will be at 3pm every day. You will probably find that there are several days when the park closes at 7pm for E-Ride nights and there are no showings of Spectro or Wishes at all.

Just thought of something else - bear in mind that, although you get reserved seating for Fantasmic, you still need to arrive 45 minutes before showtime. I think I would want a PS of 6.45pm at the latest.

Thanks for your quick response :D

I posted the wrong date, it's the 26th May (Wed) that we're going to MGM (in order to avoid the EE crowds) and the 28th for MK.

So as a rule you'd suggest PS's for about 2 to 2 and a half hours before the fantasmic show? Is the full 90 days recommended for a fantasmic dinner package PS?

Unfortunately MG has to be on the Friday so I guess we're gonna miss the evening parades

FYI

I called WDW-Dine today and made PS's for Fantasmic and was told that on that day (26th May) the PS's run from 4pm to 4:30pm so I guess there is an early show of Fantasmic that day.

SERIOUSLY looking forward to my first ever WDW Orlando trip!!

Hi there,

We did the Fantasmic dinner package at Hollywood and Vine at Christmas last year - it is really good buffet - masses of choice. We ate at 4.00 with the show at 6pm and had plent of time for the meal - dont's forget there is quite a long walk from H&V to Fantasmic. You don't have to queue with the masses you get directed to a special dinner package entrance near the main entrance of the park. Be sure to allow time.

Enjoy.
