What time to leave for airport?

Unfortunately our flight home leaves MCO at 7 AM. What time should we have a towncar pick us up at POP to give us enough time? We're flying Jet Blue so we already have our seats. Thanks!

I would have them pick you up around 5 AM. It takes about 1/2 hr to get to the airport. Then checking in the luggage, get through security. Boarding takes 1/2 hr. off your time. You might want to leave a little earlier than that if you want to grab something to eat at the airport.

For a 7:30 a.m. flight, we were picked up at 6:00 a.m. by Tiffany Towncar @ BCV. We were fine, but going through security was lengthy; it was much more crowded that I would have imagined that early in the morning. Two hours ahead of flight time is probably the minimum I would allow.

If you were in my family, it would be 4:30 am. But that is just us. We like to be two hours early from our flight. So that would give us 30 minutes to get to the airport. Time flies when you are trying to get a flight, with security and everything.

UGH! That's about what I was planning. Maybe I'll compromise and go with 4:45. Last time, we also had a flight home at 7 AM and I couldn't believe how packed our flight was. That was Southwest though, so we were also dealing with the whole A,B,C seating thing.

My DH would say 4:30 am, and then try to hustle us out of there by 4:15.
