We cannot decide what time to book our reservation for Hoop Dee Doo.
If we book the 4:00 show do they start serving right away or what?
I'm not sure if we will be hungry that early.
If we book the 6:15 show will be able to be back to MK before the fireworks? We planned on making a FP for Wishes.

What time are the fireworks scheduled for the night you're going to HDD?

The venue for HDD has the advantage of being very close to the dock for the boat to the MK so the travel time isn't bad - 30 minutes or so.

They do start serving the food right away. It lasts about 2 hours. If the fireworks are 9:00 or later, you should make it after the 6:15 show.

Right now Wishes starts at 10:00 but would like to be there before the electric parade at 9:00

Given the vagaries of transportation and the length of the show, you should know that the later time will be pushing it for the 9pm EP. You may make it, but again, might be pushing it. Can you eat a very light lunch and do the early show? Or just have a snack? Cause you'll want to be hungry - it's a ton of food. And generally good.

Pros to the late show - the gals lift their hoop skirts just ever so slightly higher and in general "gosh darn it" is replaced with the stronger "dangitall!" I mean, if you're into those things and have kids who aren't easily shocked.

Ok yes maybe we can do a light lunch and book the 4:00 show. Oh geee not thrilled about the girls hoop shirts!

I have done HDDR once at 6pm and twice at 4pm.... we prefer at 4 pm. We are two adults with no kids. We enjoy it every time and it allows us to enjoy a long evening at a park after our meal :) Also, the food was fresher and tastier at 4pm.

Another advantage to the 4 PM show is that it is usually emptier than the other shows. Meaning, if you book a category 2 or 3, there is a higher chance you will be seated closer and on the main floor. We booked a category 2 once and ended up sitting in category 1 seats for free.

We did book the 4:00 show because we decided it would give us more evening time in the park

We are doing a 1030 character breakfast that morning with 4pm hoop Dee doo in the afternoon. I think that should cover us foodwise for the day. We will go to the campfire after HDDR and then maybe to the beach for fireworks.

We would be too full at 4 PM for the all you care to eat HDDR at 4 PM after a 10:30 full character breakfast. I would change the time on one of them

We always book the 6:15 show and it has always been perfect! We usually get out around 8-8:15pm and take the boat back to MK afterwards with plenty of time for the fireworks at 10pm. 4pm is too early for us, and the 8:30 show is too late for dinner, so 6:15 is just right.
