What time should you arrive for check-in?

I want to make sure I get the apartment complex I want (Patterson). How early should I show up?

I live about forty five minutes away. I was thinking of getting there around six.

I too got there around 6-645 and was just fine. But then again I was one of the last arrival dates so the line wasn't too crazy (in fact it was pretty short) and I was able to get the apartment preference that me and my roommate wanted (Chatham Square).

They are asking that people don't show up before 7 AM because the gates will be closed and it is quiet hours at Vista. That being said, I suppose you could get there at 6 and wait in your car?

People still go around 6-6:30 anyways. They asked us that for 2010 as well and I know people who were there at 6. They just don't see the point in getting there that early. (Nor do I. But to some people the apartments are more important so I don't hate on people.)

From completing two programs 1 in 2009 and another in 2010… do not arrive before 7 am you will have to wait across the street in a mini parking lot with all your stuff THEN try to haul it all over to check in if you wait till 7 you can just drive your car and park then go get your paper work and head to your room you are thinking its goin to be crazy and hectic but really its not busy until 8-ish arrive around 7:15-ish and you will be able to get your apartment I arrived at 6:45 one time just to get Chatham 2 bedroom and it wasn’t worth it since if I would have arrived at 7:30 I would have still been able to get it

6 should be fine. I got there at 6:30 last fall and wasn't that far back in line.

6 should be fine. I got there at 6:45 for this current program (Spring 2012) and my roommate and I got what we wanted (1 bedroom at Chatham).

yeah 6 is a good time. They don't make you wait in the parking lot across the street anymore. we got to line up right by the entrance gate and were some of the first ones in line (Fall advantage 2011 and campus rep now) we got there around 6 and the gate opened up realllllly early like 715.

currently in the program and lemme say i arrived at 8:30 and got through the line very quickly, and people wanted to stay in patterson who were near me and were able to get the apartment. BTW consider vista and Chatham as well. Im in vista right now and I love it, everyone is so friendly and the whole "party" scene that everyone describes doesn't really happen at all after the first week when everyone is really tired from work. My girlfriend lives in patterson and she hates it because it is really quiet...it really is a ghost town over there compared to vista and chatham. Ive never had to worry about the noise level here at all. Vista gets a bad Rep here from everyone. Anyways take my words with a grain of salt, choose whatever you like, I'm just giving you my input from someone who is here right now.
