What time should I go to Walmart?

I am not usually a black friday shopper but Walmart has a sewing machine that I want to get for my daughter. Sale starts tonight at 10:00. I don't think a sewing machine is going to be one of those hot items that everyone fights over. Do I have to go tonight? I really don't want to be part of all the craziness but I do want that sewing machine. Any suggestions on what's the best time to go?

Honestly, for a sewing machine, or any other BF sale items, I would scour the internet repeatedly all day to find one you can order. I just did this with the PS3 Holiday Bundle for DS. I ended up paying $20 more than all of the doorbuster prices, but I don't have to bust any doors, it's coming to mine!

my walmart already had the pallet with them on it out last night at 8pm they had about 30 of them :) so you could just go right now :)

Even though they have them out early, I doubt they will ring for the sale price before 10:00 tonight. My thoughts are, if you wait till morning, they will all be gone.

I just went to check it out. They have them out but wrapped in plastic. From what I can tell, they only have 9 of them. Guess I will be back there tonight! I'll keep checking online and hope I can find a deal before then!

Never mind it shows but says not available right now...I would check back tonight though.

You can get it online right now for the BF price

nope...its says not available at this time. I am waiting for a bike and it says the same thing. I figured they would be available by now as in previous years I would shop the 5am deals at 2 or 3 am.

Just got a text from my BIL who is a manager at wal-mart. Says the place is CRAZY right now, an hour before they open!

Our store is already open. I wonder how many people have filled their carts, waiting for 10pm.

I just returned from Michaels. I passed Toys R Us, Target, and Best Buy along the way. It's raining right now, but there was at least a dozen people in line at TRU. I think many people were waiting in their cars. Target had about 5 people. Best Buy looked like a tent city. Probably 50+ people there. Kids playing in the dark parking lot. Just chaos.

Our Walmart had 9 of them still available at 3:00 pm on Black Friday afternoon. I also got one of the $99 Wiis and $79 Kindle at 3:00 pm! No standing in lines for me, just not worth it!
