Someone on another thread complained about the people in the next room getting up at 4AM to start getting ready for parks that don't open for another 4 hours. I will admit that there have been times that I have gotten up around 5AM to take a leisurely uninterrupted shower check over details for that days schedule maybe read a tour-gude book (for the umpteenth time!) etc. Myself and several of my kids are usually out of the door by 8AM at the latest to walk to the bus stop get on the bus to the parks and join the masses for the pre-opening show. We might leave earlier if we have ps for breakfast. So what time is too early to start getting up? :confused3

I get up early as well. So you're not alone.

Since we are 4 sharing a room, I usually get up first. I get ready, and slowly get DH and the kids up.

I make sure the kids clothes are out, all the fanny packs packed, and I head out to the Food court to get morning coffee and milk for the kids. When I get back all of them are up and ready for a quick in room Bfast.

Once the girls hair is done and the suntan lotion applied....we are good to go.

I don't mind getting up around 6:00. We don't reaaly do early EMH. I would love to try but my kids would really hate me.....Maybe on my last day though!

My husband I get up early. We are early-to-bed-early-to-rise folks. We get ready and usually stroll the CSR property, have an early breakfast, and whatnot. We keep the TV off and, I think, are pretty quiet getting ready.

I don't think there is a "too early" time to get up, as long as you don't disturb others, ie. talking loudly, TV blaring, etc.

I don't think there's a time that's too early to wake up. As long as you are respectful of the people in the rooms around you, it shouldn't matter what time you get up or go to bed.

Well said, I completely agree.

I always get up early too!! My wife likes to sleep in, so I either go to the parks, or just stroll around the resort and enjoy the hot tubs before everyone else!! I don't make any noise, so its cool!! One morning, we were at PO/FQ and I woke up a 4am. I got out of bed, sat in the hot tub, then walked over to PO/RS, walked the entire resort and swam in every quiet pool they have!! It was kinda erie being out in the bayou section that early, but it was a cool experience!! :earsboy:

As long as your not bothering everyone, whats the difference what time you get up. Do whatever makes you happy, its your vacation!! pirate:

I completely agree...you can disturb anybody anytime, and you can also be considerate all the time. Can you imagine the logjam at the buses and food courts if everybody was on the exact same schedule :)

I usually get up around 5:30 and do laundry while my family sleeps. Once I ran into my cousin at the Contemporary laundry room at 5:00 a.m. :rotfl2: I didn't know that he was at WDW. I am respectful of others in the resort.

I think the most wonderful time to look around the resort is in the early morning hours. :goodvibes

DH is planning on being up very early for the Steam Train Tour - it starts at 7 am, I think.
Nothing wrong with getting an early start, as long as others in your party are willing, as well.

We got up about 6 AM last time we were at WDW. DS showers at night, so if he wasn't ready to get up he didn't have to. At home he is up by 6:15 or 6:30 every day, but the parks wear him out and the time zone is different.

I have a hard time sleeping in hotels, so I usually give up by about 6 AM regardless of what DS and DH are doing.

We never heard any noise from any other rooms, but it was off season.

I am one of those people who you have to blast out of bed! BUT at WDW after 3am, I am awake every hour in anticipation. I could get up at 4am but the rest of my crew would not appreciate it!

I usually wake early when home, but at Disney I wake at about 6:30 - 8:00, which is not early in Disney time. I think it's the walking, the heat and those comfy pillows that keeps me in slumber heaven. :cloud9:

We wake up early too-I get up and get completely ready and then wake DH up 15 minutes before we need to head out. He takes a quick shower and we are out the door to be at the parks form opening. :)

I always wake up early all the year round but as we are 5 hours ahead in UK when we go to WDW we are wide awake at 3.00 a.m. for the first week due to jet lag and our body clocks.

We came home last week and I just can't get off to sleep for ages as I am now on US time!!!

I also get up very early. I usually get up about 4am when we are in WDW. I am able to get ready, get SO and DD's stuff ready for the parks. I wake them up about 6am.

i have 2 kids (3 yr ds, and 9m dd) who are conditioned to sleep no later than 6am due to having to be out of the house on workdays by 6:45am.

so unfortunately, i'm up around 5am with the baby.

needless to say we are usually at the parks at opening.

I agree, I don't think there is a set time to get up, or go to bed. Each to his own, and as previously stated just be respectful that others are probably still asleep. In fact I try very hard to be as quiet as possible all the time, as you never know if someone next door is napping, or children napping etc.

Common courtesy, quiet voices, no slamming doors, low volume on the TV etc.

Just remember to please cut the alarm off and not let it beep, beep, beep :rotfl:
