I swear, I thought I'd responded here a couple of times on your actual updates but they are MIA! Like my brain...LOL!

Love the bat and hat you guys got, what a neat neat idea! It sounds like a very fun DTD outing, despite the rain. EOS (which I still haven't eaten at!), Ghiradelli, your Bailey's shake and lots of hats! What more could anyone want. I had fun just reading about it!

You ever have one of those days you don't feel like doing what you should be doing? Yep, that's the kind of Friday I'm having. I don't feel like doing the work on my desk, so I'm going to DIS and do another update for all you wonderful people.

I feel one of those coming on today

I love MK EMH so much, it is so crazy productive, it's like getting a half, or even a full day in..in an hour! Love the morning show, it will be interesting to see if we make it there with all those teens this trip.

That was awesome of you guys to get the bat for Andy... and equally as awesome of Tim's family to surprise you and Mark!

It is always fun to sit around sharing drinks and getting to know strangers. Looks like a good time all around at DTD, even if a little damp!

I always love going to MK and seeing the opening show! I'm glad that you made it there to see it! And that extra bit of EMH just after is a nice touch as well.

We had just finished riding Haunted Mansion and decided to go ride a mountain.

while I went and grabbed some cold drinks.

Then we were off to see some pirates

But I did not participate; I told him to save it for Cayley and Avery.

Yes, everyone's favorite...The Enchanted Tiki Birds. Mark loves this and we must do it at least once a year. Yes, dear...I'll just take a little snooze now.







It was getting close to the time we could check in for our lunch ADR, so we started our stroll over there.

On the way to our lunch, we saw a Photopass photographer at a spot we like to stop each trip. This guy was fabulous. The only problem is they lost ALL but one of the 20 shots he took. I was so disappointed when I loaded my pictures and they were all gone. He was so good. He had us pose with the picture frame and then he had us kiss. And then he instructed us NOT to stop kissing. And he kept saying: keep going, keep going, keep going. And the reason he did that? So he could capture this:

well I have gotten a jump start on Xmas stuff! photos cards came Saturday and got all my envelopes addressed and labeled

and ssshhhhh ordered tickets to see The Lion King Musical today, coming to Seattle in March, will be a xmas gift for my mom, Megan and myself! we loved it when we saw it in NYC and can't wait to see it again with my mom!

thankfully most of Megan's xmas gifts are taken care of with our trip, the Lion King tickets, just need a few little things for her.

I don't know if its the new PP website PP+ MBs or what but as you know I have been having ongoing sagas with my PP pictures too Did you try contacting them at all once you got home? Not that I think that would have helped, I have had disappearing reappearing and other peoples pictures going onto and off of my account since the first week of Sept the emails back and forth continue I am not so optimistic at this point BUT your PP photographer sure got the essence of Kat/Mark in that kiss of emotions exploding into fireworks awesome

I love that ya'll headed right towards the new Fantasyland. I can hardly wait to see it when it's all done and there are no construction walls. Like you, I think that it's neat that Disney thinks of everything....even adding details to the walkways.

I'm with you; the construction walls are gettin gold. It amazes me how well themed they do things.

For me, it's the change in the weather. We had snow flurries today and it is 40 degrees...I don't function well this time of the year.

I love MK EMH so much, it is so crazy productive, it's like getting a half, or even a full day in..in an hour! Love the morning show, it will be interesting to see if we make it there with all those teens this trip.

It really is; and then you can have the afternoon off, go to another park. It's the best. I'll be curious if all those teens end up wanting to sleep in.

I've heard a lot of people complain about lost pictures, etc. I'm really debating with myself whether or not I should even bother with it in December. Awww...thanks, Ruthie. It took me awhile to figure out why he was making us kiss so long, and then it dawned on me. We were very touched that he did that.

I want that picture! I hope I can find the same PP guy on our trip to do one of me and my hubby!

Claire, despite having "tired lips" after the length of that kiss, it was a lot of fun.

Wow!! You put a bunch up at once! OK, trying to catch up again. Loved the photo of you and Mark at the castle. Very sad PP lost so many. We lost a couple as well and then had some random man's photos on our card.

Mr. Mark shouldn't have to play checkers by himself! There's always an imaginary friend nearby when you are in a Magic Kingdom.

Do you normally get a car? I think I was a tad spoiled this last trip with some of my travel companions having a car... makes me wonder

We followed the signs and before you know it, we were pulling in here:

I get so excited to read reports that have OKW in them.

So we left DTD, and as we were driving, I got our text. Our room was ready!

We knew when we checked in that we were in Building 14. The great guy I rent our points from had requested for us to be close to the Hospitality House this trip. This was not a deal breaker for us because we really, really like the Turtle Pond area and we had a car this entire trip and would be using it most of the time to get to the parks.

I looked at my text and saw that it was 3:45 and our room was ready. We were in Room 1432. And I thought...oh oh...Mark's not going to be happy. That room is on the 3rd floor and there are NO elevators. We had three suitcases, my carry on bag and my computer. Thankfully, we didn't shop this trip as we had ordered from Garden Grocer when we didn't think we'd have the car the whole time so at least they would be bringing the water, pop, etc. We started unpacking the car and made two trips up to our room.

Yum, that looks good!!! I have been there twice for lunch, but january will be the first time for dinner. I am really hoping to enjoy it... lunch this last time was my least favorite meal of the trip.

We looked around a little bit and noted some things we might be interested in picking up for Christmas gifts. After that, we headed to the People Mover and took a relaxing ride.

I love the people mover at night!

We were back in our room right around 9:30 and set out our clothes for the next morning and headed to bed. It was a great arrival day and we couldn't wait to see what our first full day at the parks would bring.
