What Time is the 4 o'clock Rain? -- Updates 11/2-4 -- Tim's surprise and Marco&Recap

Kathy don't worry about the donut, there are no calories in Disney:rotfl2:

Really? Wow...I'm going to stop at every cookie place during the Christmas Party then. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I thought for sure you would be one of those "front of the pack...sprinters" for TSM!!! :lmao: The last time the kids and I hang at the end and Jon went with the crowd for Fast Passes... then we were able to get on when the kids and I got there without too much of a wait.

I used to be five years ago; but then Mark hit 60 and he insists that we take our time. :rotfl2:

I do hope you bought Mark one of those swords to bring home! :cool1:

No, he did not...he got something much better to bring home with him (hopefully I don't forget to tell you what it is at the end of the report).

My oldest DS went to get FP for TSM one year when we ate at H&V..so it was 905 maybe..and our return time was 1030ish I think...that guy on ToT waving to the camera :lmao:too funny

That is just crazy. Although I am sure if the new Carsland and new Star Wars stuff is true, TSM will be a walk on.

I didn't notice him waving until you said that.

Man, I miss one day on the boards and I feel like I'm 17 updates behind. One of these days you'll have to share your secret for getting ADR's at Be Our Guest, because I've never once seen an open seating there. Looks so good, though!

My secret...up at the crack of dawn and online and on the phone until I reach someone and praying for the best!

Congrats on beating Mark at Buzz Lightyear! Your persistence has paid off.

Took me long enough.

Sorry Mark couldn't ride RnR. Hopefully there was another chance later in the trip.

Nope, it was his one and only chance. I offered to wait before we left the Studios that day, but he wasn't overly concerned about it.

i dont have one, i was going to just wing it, and let you know how it turns out.
:thumbsup2 if its good ill give it to you.

Sounds like a good plan, Dan.

hoping to get parker on TOT next trip but we will see how that goes.

I would start slow with one of the other "dark" rides first and be sure he is okay with those.

Boats can't operate because of too much water? Who knew? :headache: :headache: :headache: :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:

The locks were opened because of all the water and at certain levels it was too high for those boats to risk...especially by the bridges.

I'll be back later to catch up. Can you slow this report down a little bit for us slackers? :rolleyes1

Yes, I'll slow down. Maybe, though, you shouldn't be a slacker. Just saying. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Coming out of lurkdom. I have enjoyed your TR's just never commented before. Your DH and I have something in common, I plan around baseball season too as I coach a lot of baseball and my grandkids play so I am busy all spring til July and now again in the fall. I love it.

Lorrie:welcome::welcome:Thank you for coming out of lurkdom and joining in...that is very sweet. Good for you coaching and watching the grandkids play too. Yep, I lose my husband from mid-April until the end of July ever year. Bt no complaints fo rme...it supports this Disney habit of ours.

I love Entenmanns donuts and will hit the outlet before we drive down in December. I try to get my DH to go on Rock N Roller coaster without me but he refuses. I started going on TOT just because he wouldn't go on that and leave me alone either. Now it's a favorite but I won't do the coaster.

When in December will you be there? We are there the 3rd until the 8th. Mark will do it himself...no worries there. I will go no where near Rock N Roll anymore; I end up with such a headache when we are done.

Well, I was going to do another update tonight, but Tim (that's nice...you know that slacker) asked me to slow down. So I'll wait and try to do it tomorrow. Is that slow enough for you Tim?

I am leaving work a little early tomomorrow as I have a DIS meet a little after 4 p.m. with Starr (okay...brain dead on her DIS name right now) and Saturday we are going to Milwaukee to the Milwaukee Zoo and then meeting Barry, his wife Bambi and their three beautiful children--Madison, Evan and Ryder (FreezeinRafiki here on the DIS) for lunch.

Thank goodness for your links I am all caught up !!!I love WPE too!!My favorite is the Bacon wrapped meatloaf!!!So you finally beat Mark!!!:goodvibesI have to say I would not like3rd floor either !!!:rotfl2: I can't wait to try BOG in October fro lunch and in December for supper !!! We have to make plans to meet up in December!! Have you seen how our group is growing , we are back to 3 Grannies again!!!:cool1:

Great update!

I enjoyed the bag check picture!

It's amazing, really, how fast the TSM fastpasses go! It kind of boggles my mind! But glad to see you got some, though!

Tower of Terror is my favorite, too-it narrowly beats out RnRC! That's such a bummer Mark didn't get to ride it! :-(

Great pictures with Daisy and Donald! You both look so happy! :-)

I thank you my dear! :worship::worship: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sounds like a great weekend... except meeting up with Barry. I mean who wants to hang out with that guy. :confused3:rolleyes1

(although his wife and kids are great!) ;)

Sorry Ms. Kat, thought I'd hijack a bit to give y'all a recipe for French onion soup. I typically go to Allrecipes.com to find recipes that I can read the reviews on, this is a great site for this type of thing. :)

Yaaaaay for hitting DHS!! :cool1:

I love this park. :lovestruc It's the first park we ever stepped foot in and it has such wonderful memories for me and my family. pixiedust:

It's too bad Mark didn't get a chance to ride RnR. :sad1: I have to say it's certainly one of my favorite rides, wish it didn't bother your poor head when you ride them.

I'm with Mr. Mark, the running with the bulls to get to TSM is just something I'm not willing to do. :sad2: But I do have to say, it's sooo worth it to make it there first thing in the morning. I finally got to ride it this trip!! TWICE!! :cheer2: I LOVE THAT RIDE!!
It's a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I notice you just can't ride too close together and get a decent score the second time around, my arms too tired and not fully recovered from the last adventure. :rotfl:
You'd think with all the weights I had been lifting over the last couple of years would have done the trick, but alas the couple of months before the trip of not working out did me in.

I blame it on the physical therapy! :rotfl:

Can't wait for the meets!! :yay:

Hi Kathy, I am finally here. I am sorry it took me so long, since your PM I have been trying to read and catch up and have had a lot to read! Praying for your brother, I am truly sorry for this news. I am praying for al of you. The intro pics are fabulous. :goodvibes Love your new Granddog and Cookie looked really good, and you KNOW your sons and beautiful new daughter are gorgeous. You and Mark look like teens in love and I really enjoyed the BOG pics, that just looks like a ton of fun.

Thanks for the heads-up, Just wanted you to know I AM here. I join the slacker list with Tim, I need you to slow down, but if you have a PTR to write I don't think you can. (Hi Tim :wave2:, our Micky Butt bag is going bag to Disney in a week, along with us :yay:)

I will be reading...:goodvibes

Hi, Rosie; welcome home. Hope you had a great time.

Yes, the third floor was a little tough. I'll have to remember that meatloaf next time we go. Yes, we definitely have to make plans for December. I lost the link to that PTR so I'm not sure who all is going with you.

Great update!

Thank you.

I enjoyed the bag check picture!

This is the first trip Mark kept taking the camera from me (probably because I was taking pictures with my cell phone).

It's amazing, really, how fast the TSM fastpasses go! It kind of boggles my mind! But glad to see you got some, though!

Me too; but I think that will eventually change with the new additions rumored for DHS.

Tower of Terror is my favorite, too-it narrowly beats out RnRC! That's such a bummer Mark didn't get to ride it! :-(

I just can't do RnRC anymore...gives me headaches. I really wish Mark could have gotten on it.

Great pictures with Daisy and Donald! You both look so happy! :-)

Thanks. :goodvibes

I thank you my dear! :worship::worship: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You are welcome.

Sounds like a great weekend... except meeting up with Barry. I mean who wants to hang out with that guy. :confused3:rolleyes1

Good thing Barry isn't here to read that!

(although his wife and kids are great!) ;)

They are a great family.

Thanks, Camille; I'll go take a look.

Yaaaaay for hitting DHS!! :cool1:

I love this park. :lovestruc It's the first park we ever stepped foot in and it has such wonderful memories for me and my family. pixiedust:

Unfortunately, our least favorite park; just not enough for us to do. But I can understand your love for it.

It's too bad Mark didn't get a chance to ride RnR. :sad1: I have to say it's certainly one of my favorite rides, wish it didn't bother your poor head when you ride them.

The only roller coaster I can do that doesn't bother my head anymore is Big Thunder; the rest at Disney are out.

We figure if we get on it, we get on it. As much as we love it, it won't kill us if we miss it one trip.

My arms are killing me after one ride. I guess I need to work out. :lmao:

I blame it on the physical therapy! :rotfl:

Then again, maybe not. :rotfl:

Can't wait for the meets!! :yay:

You have another couple of days before the meets.

:bored:

Caught up yet Tim??? :lmao:

popcorn::

:duck:

I am going to assume not since he didn't comment on anything from my last update. But I'm going ahead with the next update shortly.

Hi Kathy, I am finally here. I am sorry it took me so long, since your PM I have been trying to read and catch up and have had a lot to read! Praying for your brother, I am truly sorry for this news. Judy, it is so good to see you. Thank you for the prayers for my brother. He is at the heart transplant doctor today for preliminary discussions...we'll see how it goes. Isn't my new grandpuppy adorable? I can't wait to meet him in a few weeks. Cookie is doing pretty good after the traumatic tail cutting episode. Thank you...I have to agree they are all great looking kids. I don't feel like a teen. :(

I know you will be here when you can. You can be a slacker like Tim...you have good reason.

So when I last left you, we had just met some Movie Stars and were headed here:

Of course, we stopped in the dump shop:

After finishing Star Tours, Mark needed a bio break, so we walked over to the one near the Muppets. Unfortunately, the Muppets were closed, but while we were in the area, I got this:

We stopped in the store near the Muppets and Mark modeled this:

We went to Sing in the Rain:

It still was not time for our fastpasses for TSM, so we decided to do something we had not done in years.

We figured since there are rumors of it closing to make way for Carsland, we'd go for nostalgia sake.

Next we were here:

Pictures from the tram ride:

Continued in next post

We were then approaching Catastrophe Canyon:

Cut!!!!

Then we went here:

It was finally time for our fastpasses for TSM. When we got there, we were in shock. The line for standby was at 180 minutes!!! And, not only that, there was a line OUT THE DOOR for the fastpass return. I will say it went quickly, but I have never seen it like that in all of our visits. :scared1:

Mark got his revenge for the butt whooping I did to him on Buzz:

We exited TSM and I took this for Pat (Poolrat):

Up next, lunch ADR and more DHS

Got caught up while eating lunch!!

I would not wait 180 minutes for any attraction!! And FP being out the door is ridiculous. Now I understand why you didn't like my walk on rides yesterday!! :lmao:

Wow, DHS must have been crowded that day if FP were already at 10:50. Of course they have been letting people in really early now so maybe that was why.

That boy next to you on TOT looks scared out of his mind! :lmao:

Bummer that Mark didn't get to ride RnRC. I think they sometimes wait till later in the day/morning to open the single rider line for some reason.

I'm not sure if I'm going to try Star Tours next month or not. I keep thinking that getting sick last time was a fluke but what if it wasn't? I don't want to feel that miserable again!

May you guys didn't have much luck, with no single rider on RnRC and then Muppets closed. But I love your Tigger tatoo! One of these days I'm going to get a Pluto one.

I loved all of the movie props at the end of Backlot!

Oh, you asked about the Buzz targets. Here's a link I found that describes the best places to aim:

Buzz Lighyear Targets

Great updates!

My DH loves the new Star Tours, we rode it 6 times our last visit, LOL.

Wow, 180 minute SB for TSM?? :scared1: I don't care how great the ride is, nothing is worth standing in line for 3 hours. :sad2:

That is just crazy. Although I am sure if the new Carsland and new Star Wars stuff is true, TSM will be a walk on.

I didn't notice him waving until you said that.
Guess there will be more rides to FP :upsidedow

Yay for at home DISmeets:dance3:

We have to make plans to meet up in December!! Have you seen how our group is growing , we are back to 3 Grannies again!!!:cool1:
:cheer2:

KathyI would've definitely done the Great Movie Ride...one last time  and nice Tigger tattoo :thumbsup2

No WALTER in the Muppet land?!?! What's that about?!?!

also in the star wars store I really love the tee that says Judge my by my size...

Think i need that for Meg!
I have never done the back-lot tour i hope it is still open next year! :thumbsup2

The picture with Mark and the Singing in the rain?!?! Priceless!

When December will you be there? We are there the 3rd until the 8th. Mark will do it himself...no worries there. I will go no where near Rock N Roll anymore; I end up with such a headache when we are done.

I'll be there from Dec 1st til the 7th, staying at SSR for the 1st time so I'm excited. I am working on maybe one more day but so far no luck. We are driving so I have a little leeway. I just don't do anything that goes upside down and am pretty much staying away from most coasters this trip due to a serious ankle injury.

I have plans this trip to ride Star Wars as many times as I can tolerate it to see how many different scenes I can get. DHS is definitely not a favorite but I do love TSM. I usually beat DH there. He kills me on Buzz Lightyear, he cheats.

That's me....Starr! :)

Oh my....3rd floor and no elevator! Yikes!!

Always love to see Mark's hat pictures.

LOVE the picture of you on ToT...too funny!!

I am shocked I am still up to date...and really enjoying your TR...of course I am ignoring everything else in life :lmao:

What is it with Mark and the swords? When we were there in Dec he and Todd were having sword fights in one of the gift shops and we had to yell at them remember? :rotfl2:

And your pictures are making me a little sad I am skipping WDW this year....not sad enough to leave my baby but sad that I am missing out on our F&W blow out birthday party extravaganza :worried:
