We had a pretty good weekend. DW and I were in Phoenix over the weekend with some friends. It was a nice little get away. Weather wasn't too bad over there. It was nice Friday and most of the day Saturday. Saturday night it rained off and on. Sunday was cooler and cloudy, but still warm compared to back home.

Yay, I'm glad you had a good time and decent weather!

9:15am- it's sunny and 60 degrees. Our temps this past week have been in the high 60s/low 70s, and a bit more cloudy than usual. A couple of times I've gone out to sit in the backyard and read, but I didn't last long.

I'm looking forward to the expected high 70s later this week!

Good Monday Morning, lovies! Sorry I have been missing! Busy busy busy with the move to the OC. Packers are here now, moving van comes tomorrow. So much to do so little time. Ugh.

Yesterday we had rain like I have never seen even on the East coast. Intense pouring down most of the day.

Today is a BEAUTY! Sun is shining and will be all week long! Yeah!

Just wanted to stop by while I had 5, to wish all of you the Happiest Thanksgiving! We have a crowd stopping by during the holiday week and on Thanksgiving we have ressies at STORYTELLER'S in the GC at DL!

A belated Happy Thanksgiving to you and everyone else on this weather thread!! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope everyone here did as well.

Today is a beautiful day- gorgeous sunshine, headed for the mid-70s this afternoon. I'm working around the house, cleaning and doing a bit of decorating. This afternoon I need to run to Michael's so I can change out my fall flowers for some Christmas ones, then we'll have dinner out somewhere.

Yes. We had a lovely time. Next time down I may fly though or stay longer than what we did. My friends slept almost the whole way going and coming. DW and I enjoyed the car ride most I think. Don't know when we'll go again though. Next trip we're headed out to Kar's new neck of the woods.

Heather and I went out. Got a whole new bedroom set. Old bed frame broke on us, so we needed a new bed. Found a great deal so go the dressers and night stands to go along with it.

Also got a new outdoor heater for our patio.

Sorry you had to work Anna. I remember those days. I worked in grocery retail for many years. When I worked my way up to management, seems I was always the one working on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Even though the store would close Christmas Day, I would have to go in for a couple of hours to check and make sure everything was still working properly. So I feel for you.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving to everyone as well. Sorry I haven't posted much lately. The weekend prior to Thanksgiving, I was on my annual hunting trip with my uncles and cousins. It was cold and very windy. Few times it felt like the wind would blow over our camper or blow us off the mountain while we were hiking up. Weather over this last weekend was some what cooler, but still sunny. Back to really needing rain and/or snow, which they say we might get this weekend. Along with a massive cool down. Some parts of our state will be in the single digits over night.
