We got our fist "official snow" yesterday!! our last snow was about 20 miles up the hill, so I didn't call it "official".

Oh man what a beauty today! My husband and I went out early this morning to eastern Long Island for some apples... It's a homemade apple sauce kinda day

Anywho, sunny and 75 degrees. A good day to watch some football! Go big blue!

Wasn't this past weekend great, we didn't put the top on the Jeep up all weekend. We went to Maine to getaway WOW was it nice, 80's every day! The Hotel we stay in had a parking garage so that's why we didn't put the top up. Just drove it in and left it down ready for the next day.


It's 11:38a and 61 degrees, cool but still not bad.

My roof is still down! It will be going up tonight when I get home from work. It's turning fall and rainy. Glad you had a nice trip to Maine. I've only been there once but Bar Harbor was lovely.

Thank you so much for posting all the beautiful balloon pictures! What an amazing sight it must be to see so many balloons in one place. And what a variety! We didn't make it this year, but I told my husband we are DEFINITELY going to the Balloon Fiesta next year!

You're welcome. I told DW that we needed to go because I promised you pictures. It had actually been a few years since we've gone to the park itself. Mainly because we're usually not morning people. We like to sleep in on weekends since we're up early every day to go to work. I hope you get a chance to come out and see them. Hopefully the weather is good. We've had beautiful weather before the balloon fiesta started; and wouldn't you know it, the week of fiesta it decides it wants to rain and snow. Seems to never fail.

I know you are in Vegas this weekend, and I hope you are having fun! We got back from Vegas earlier this week. We had the best time, and it was made even better by the fact that I hit several times at the slots.

I only play the quarter machines and always play the max, either two or three credits. I hit for 1,600 credits ($400.00) on a Double Diamond machine at the Mirage, and I hit for 1,000 credits ($250.00) on a Wheel of Gold machine at the MGM Grand. I got a "spin" and it landed on the 1,000 credit space on the wheel. I've never had a spin hit for that much! I also had a few other smaller hits, and had machines where I sat and played for at least several hours. My husband didn't do as well at Blackjack, but he fared pretty well. It was a great trip!

Yeah, I never got a chance to post before we left. The Saturday we left, it was back to being beautiful weather. Cleared up enough for the balloons to go up and end on a positive note. We didn't do too bad ourselves. We didn't have big hits like you did, but we cashed out $100 here, $80 there. After a while they started to add up. If we lost on one machine, we would make it up on another. We got lots of playing time in. Unlike our April trip where they took our money quick. We even brought home some of the cash we took with us. About half I think, and that was after paying for souvenirs and meals with the money we kept winning. So overall it was a good trip. And we had awesome weather. Nights got a little cool, but overall it was nice. No clouds the whole time we were there.

Back home now, the weather is also nice and sunny. No clouds. Supposed to be in the 70's this week and then drop back down over the weekend. As far as I can tell no rain in sight.

1:40 PM and it's currently 66 degrees.

South Texas.. 8:33am and we are in the 80s already. Temperature today should be in the high 90s with lots of sun. We are after all winter haven for a lot of the people that live up North.

Glad you guys had a good time in Vegas. Maybe they've "loosened up" the slots a bit lately. Two weekends and your family and ours have walked away with money! Those are the kind of trips that are really fun!

Sounds like this area! The winter population increases greatly October through April. Lots of sunshine and warm temps throughout the weekend.

CALI has been in the middle of a HEAT WAVE but I am loving every single minute of it!!!!

It's 65 degrees here and it's raining again But as you said I do love the cooler temps now, don't get me wrong I still love summer. Just a nice break from hot and humid weather.

I have not been to the Pumpkin Festival, I have heard all about it but never have gone. I will try about the weather, this week is up and down so lets hope by the weekend it's in the up part.

We put the hard top on the Jeep yesterday it was a nice weekend and not sure if we will have many more so up went the hard top.
