It's 9:00am and 55 degrees, and mostly cloudy skies......that's ok it's not raining!

You might have over done it just a little bit. It snowed on the mountains. That's ok though, really needed the moisture. Supposed to clear up today, but more chances of rain/snow later on in the week. Hot Air Balloon events were canceled for the day. Supposed to get really windy tomorrow, so good chance they might land up canceling tomorrow's events as well. Which is kind of a bummer as tomorrow and Friday's events are some of the better events to see.

It's lovely here today, sun and 64. I'm toying with taking the roof down. Problem is I work until 12am and it gets rather cool that late at night.

56 degrees at 8:45 AM. We had quite the rainstorm last night. The weather has been unseasonably cool for our "Indian Summer". This is when we usually have our nicest weather. Not quite time to turn on the heat yet, which is good, since we're having some remodeling done and there are definite air leaks right now.

Oh and there was frost on my Jeep!!

Supposed to get really windy here today. Winds have already kicked up. Balloon events canceled for the day again. Chances of rain later on in the evening.

Was 50 degrees when I came to work this morning. Has only warmed up to 54 now at 10:05 am. Can't hardly wait for vacation this weekend.

Oh my our Wednesday was NASTYYYYY! Pouring intense rain and high winds. The temps were anywhere from 58-65 degrees all over the County.

TODAY IS BRIGHT

We in SoCal do NOT want any more days like WED.

It's 4:15p and 62 degrees here now. Well our temps have been in the high 50's to very low 60's. No top down here, this weekend for sure We do the same thing that is with the heat, if my DH wants the top down but I am a little cool we will put that heat on too! Enjoy the Jeep while you can

Thank you so much for posting all the beautiful balloon pictures! What an amazing sight it must be to see so many balloons in one place. And what a variety! We didn't make it this year, but I told my husband we are DEFINITELY going to the Balloon Fiesta next year!

I know you are in Vegas this weekend, and I hope you are having fun! We got back from Vegas earlier this week. We had the best time, and it was made even better by the fact that I hit several times at the slots.

I only play the quarter machines and always play the max, either two or three credits. I hit for 1,600 credits ($400.00) on a Double Diamond machine at the Mirage, and I hit for 1,000 credits ($250.00) on a Wheel of Gold machine at the MGM Grand. I got a "spin" and it landed on the 1,000 credit space on the wheel. I've never had a spin hit for that much! I also had a few other smaller hits, and had machines where I sat and played for at least several hours. My husband didn't do as well at Blackjack, but he fared pretty well. It was a great trip!


The weather here in Tucson has been on the cooler side this week. In fact, there were several days where it was warmer back in Maine than here in Tucson! Strange weather!

It is 8:50am, sunny and 54 degrees. The high today is supposed to be 81. The high today for Kennebunk, Maine is supposed to be 83. That's just not right! Of course, we're supposed to be back up in the 90s later this week.

Oh man what a beauty today! My husband and I went out early this morning to eastern Long Island for some apples... It's a homemade apple sauce kinda day
