GOOD LUCK on the move, luv!!! :yay:

Can we get some pictures of the brand new abode once you are all unpacked and settled in??? :goodvibes

I remember a storm like that in New England once, a few years ago! I picked my Mom up in Maine and we were driving on 495 headed to Andover, omg, the rain, the wind, the intensity of it all. We were scared and it just hit out of no where (summertime) that I just pulled over on the side of 495 (as many did) and waited it out. The visibility was basically zero that I even had a tough time getting to the side of the road with everyone on the highway trying to do the same thing. :scared1:

Weird storms, huh, and definitely scary!

Thanks! I'm quite sure this will be our last move for a loooooooooong time.:upsidedow There is a thread on here about having a house built that I started a few months ago when I was looking for ideas/tips on house building/design. Lots of pics of the building process. Perhaps I'll add a few after we've settled in. I'll have to post pics of the pool.:cool1: Oh and my palm tree, something I've always wanted to have in my backyard. That wasn't going to happen in Maine!:rotfl:

brrrr....at 11 PM, I think it's down to the high 50's. Gotta love the San Francisco Bay Area FOG!!!

I love having the windows open, but need to remember to close them by early afternoon, otherwise it gets too hot, and the A/C pops on - with the windows open! I hate when that happens.

Hmm, I don't remember … we had lovely weather when we were at dinner … what happened? Was it a marine layer issue? :sad1:

Not sure what happened. :confused3 It was lovely the day we got there and had dinner. Started out cloudy the next day we went to Sea World then it cleared up. By the afternoon the clouds moved back in. Got windy and cold, and stayed that way until we left.

Nothing has changed here that much. Bright and sunny out. No winds lately which has been nice. Well at least until the clouds roll in. Still hoping for more rain. Looks promising then nothing. They say better chances for rain today. We'll find out later I guess.

8:30 am and 68 degrees.

It's 9:34 in the morning, 94 degrees here at work but heat index of 108. The official temp is 85, but that's about 10 miles from here. It's supposed to reach 106 (actual) this afternoon. It looks like Austin's headed for a record year of 100+ days. No rain... but we've kinda gotten used to that lately. (We're about two feet behind now. No, literally.)

I walk on my lunch break. Lately, I've been watching out for Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego.

It's 11:53a and 79 degrees, another nice day! Yesterday was in the mid to high 70's too!

It is 11:19am here in Fort Worth and we've already reached 100 degrees...for the 34th day in a row. You know it is bad when the boys say it is too hot to go to the pool. But the pool is like bathwater right now!

Still nice here too! Yesterday got up to 82 degrees and it felt really nice out, had all the windows open.

It's 9:11a and 70 degrees

Just read the extended forecast for next week--HIGHS in the mid 70's :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Well it's nice here really cloudy earlier. It's 2:30 and its 84 degrees.

So all of my weather buddies. Wish good weather luck on my family tomorrow. We are having a bbq for our family that got us through the loss of my brother back in April. Sunday would have been the first anniversary of his wedding reception (long story lol) of his 1st marriage. Imagine getting married for the first time at 49? Yeah, me either :) Anywho, the weather has been going back between Sat or Sunday which would have rain and which wouldn't, I think we win! I hope you all have a great weekend.

Sending pixiedust:and wishing you good luck with the weather, but it sounds like it will be nice tomorrow.

It's 2:41p and 80 degrees here, been cloudy most of the day. That's ok still warm out!

Feeling bad for my brothers in Oklahoma right now. It's actually hotter for them right now than for me in AZ.

It's noon and it's only 103 degrees with 30% humidity (feels like 107) in Phx area but my poor brothers it's showing as 111 degrees with 25% humidity (feels like 120) in central OK.

I'm used to the heat - it hit 100 degrees for the first time on April 1st this year, no joke!

Sending some pixie dust your way for good weather. Have fun at your bbq. pixiedust:

Well I hope your bbq went off ok, Anna. Very very humid here yesterday, got up to 84 with the humidity it felt much hotter.

Today rain in am then some sun they say, it has been raining off and on this morning so far.

It's 9:17a and 71 degrees.

TY so much Thump and Pooh! It was a great BBQ. It was a really nice mix of family. The weather was much better yesterday then today. Yesterday we didn't need the AC today's humidity is brutal. AC has been on more for the humidity then the temps.

Right now it's 3:57 and it's 87 but feels like 95. I have family in Ponca City OK. They've had triple digits for a while and it doesn't seem like that is going to change anytime soon.

It's 9:44a and 77 degrees which is not hot but it's very very humid. A/c's on here just because of the humidity.

Glad to hear everything went ok for you Anna on Saturday....
