Well here in Lakeland, FL 40min away from the Mouse it is 79degrees with a feel like temp of 83. There are storms around and it is quite muggy. It is 3:34pm in the afternoon. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Hello my weather friends! I haven't been around for a while but I hope that is about to change. Here's your local Long Island weather.... freakin' hot and getting hotter each day. Sunny as all get out and 90 degrees.

Here's a very hot tale. My family and I went to NH last week. Our trailer was ruined by carpenter ants (unbeknownst to us) so we camped in a tent in 90 degree days and hotter. I don't think I have ever been so hot! What a week. LOL

It's been HOT as you know around here!

Wow I wouldn't have wanted to camp in the weather we have been having around here, and not in a tent that's for sure

WELCOME back!

It's 4:45p and 84 degrees. Much better than last week!!

A nice start so far!

It's 8:37a and 68 degrees and sunny!

Thanks Pooh! I had to get my Disney Mojo back. I was missing it.

Today is lovely 82 and sunny. I have the AC on only because of after last week, I'm done with heat for a little while.

It is really nice here too! No a/c on here yet, we will see might have to by the end of the week. So nice to have the windows open and not hearing the a/c sound.

It's 2:26p and 81 degrees, mostly cloudy too.

What a nice morning! Last one for a few days.

It's 8:39a and 68 degrees with low humidity, which will be coming back late tonight:sad1:

HUMID, HUMID, HUMID--at least we don't have the 100+ temps to go along with it but it is still hard to breath out there. It's 78 with a 72 degree dewpoint at 8:30 Am, YUCK.

Dreary day here. Damp, wet and 75 degrees. Feels good though. Gonna' turn warm after today.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Well the humidity is back and it's so they say going to hit 90 today....

It's 10:25a and 82 degrees.

Hot and steamy again, heat indexes in the 105+ range again today with dewpoints in the 80's again--YUCK!!!

8:15am Just an absolutely beautiful day. Bright sun. 70 degrees. :sunny:

HAVE A GOOD DAY, everyone!!! :goodvibes

Glad to hear the weather is good over there. My BIL and his girlfriend are headed to your neck of the woods. Taking a little vacation there. Hope they have better weather than when Heather and I went.

Been getting cloudy here everyday, but nothing really as far as rain goes. The clouds roll in and looks like we're in for a good down pour, then nothing. :confused3 We've been getting the occasional spot shower, but no significant rainfall to make a difference to our drought situation. It will rain for about 10 minutes (and we're only talking a light rain) then stop. At least it's help keep it cooler around here.

9;50 am and it's currently 72 degrees.

I know I had a good weekend. First weekend in a long time I was just plain lazy.

Hope everyone had a great weekend as well.

That's what we did last weekend, this one yard work and flea market shopping.

It's 2:02p and 91 degrees, very humid also......

:wave2: Hope everyone had a great weekend! We've been crazy busy. We closed on our new house yesterday, so it's been a busy week of packing and everything else that goes along with a move. This will be our fourth move in four years, all in 100+ temperatures.:headache::upsidedow Tip to others: never move from one place to another in Southern Arizona in the summer!

The big move is actually taking place this coming weekend, but in addition to packing for the past few weeks, we've been running around trying to decide on ceiling fans and window treatments. We've also had both grandkids at our house more than usual due to their mom and dad being involved in the same local theatre production. Of course, we're okay with that!;)

And this morning I'm driving DD20 up to Phoenix. She is flying to Los Angeles to spend a week with some friends and to take some dance classes. She starts her last year of college later this month. Where did the time go?!?!

Oh yeah, the weather.:) We had some wild (and scary!) weather over the weekend here in Tucson, especially in the northwest area near us. July and August are generally stormy and rainy due to the monsoons, but on Sunday we had a storm come through that uprooted trees and cracked and broke off numerous tree branches. It moved out just as quickly as it moved in, but while it lasted, it was fierce. The rain came down in sheets and the winds were extremely high.

DD20 and I were driving down I-10 (more packing, taking stuff back to her off-campus housing:headache:) when the storm hit. Many drivers pulled to the side of the road because visibility was near zero. The winds and rain made it very hard to see even a few feet in front of you. One section of I-10had several lanes blocked with fallen branches and debris, causing drivers to swerve in and out of several lanes. It's a miracle there were no accidents!

Today is a beautiful sunny day, although it's going to be hot!:cool1: 7:40am and 80 degrees. Have a good day, everyone!!:)

Glad to hear everything is going well with you Luv! Sounds like a busy time for you all.

It's 11:21a and 81 degrees, I think it's a little now I did say a LITTLE less humid this morning...

Hmm, I don't remember … we had lovely weather when we were at dinner … what happened? Was it a marine layer issue? :sad1:

Yes, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! San Diego has had an amazing summer! Awesome comfy temps every day!

9:20am, bright sun. 70 degrees. :sunny:

GOOD LUCK on the move, luv!!! :yay:

Can we get some pictures of the brand new abode once you are all unpacked and settled in??? :goodvibes

I remember a storm like that in New England once, a few years ago! I picked my Mom up in Maine and we were driving on 495 headed to Andover, omg, the rain, the wind, the intensity of it all. We were scared and it just hit out of no where (summertime) that I just pulled over on the side of 495 (as many did) and waited it out. The visibility was basically zero that I even had a tough time getting to the side of the road with everyone on the highway trying to do the same thing. :scared1:
