Going be a wicked bad day here for the next 24 hours. Wind is already blowing and the storms should come in just as I get to work 59 and cloudy.

Work has been crazy too! I don't get as much time as I did to come here, hope it slows down some soon.

I know what you mean. Been crazy busy for me as well. Interfering with me writing my TR. Should start slowing down for me soon, once our audit is done.

It's a little cooler here today. Highs will only be in the mid 60's, which is perfect weather here.

9:42 am and it's currently 53.

12:45pm 73 degrees on the way to almost 90.

We usually have lots of wind and 60 degree temps this time of year, but instead we are having stagnant air and lots of wildfires in the area resulting in very bad air quality.

Our school sports teams are either practicing indoors or being bussed 30-50 miles away to practice. Looks like the home football game on Friday will be on neutral territory in a town about 65 miles south.

Sunny and warm but we are all warned not to go out!!

It's been this way to some degree for weeks now. One fire actually came pretty close to our town taking out 50 homes scattered about.
We really need rain and wind!

It was suppose to be sunny but yeah not so much. I'm in jeans for the first time in months The good news my jeans are 2 sizes smaller then the last time I had to where them. Cloudy and 67 here on LI.

It's rainy and turning cooler this afternoon! I can hear thunder right now also. That storm noise will be a memory soon, not only for the day but for the remainder of the year, as fall weather sweeps through.

8 a.m. and 33 degrees and I woke up to SNOW!!! Okay, it's not much, and it's already melting, but it's on the grass and the rooftops (roads are still wet). There's a 30% chance of snow tomorrow, too. Winter is coming. (As a Game of Thrones fan, I love it that I can say that. I'm still working on fitting "The North remembers" into a conversation, but that's a lot trickier.)

The smoke from the wildfires is really bad this morning! High 82!

O.T., but love GOT quotes too! I made a tombstone for my Halloween display this year that says my favorite...for the night is dark and full of terrors!

It's 12:26 pm and it's overcast and a chilly fall 61*. The leaves are starting to change and when the wind was blowing early there was enough lave coming off one tree it looked like it was snowing yellow

98 - 100 degrees around here. We've been going to the night-time A's games in Oakland and haven't needed our light jackets at all. That's unheard of!

It's supposed to start cooling off, but nothing like having our summer in October. (truth: the weather in San Francisco is better in September & October than in June and July!)

Sounds like our temps! We visited San Francisco in April one year, and we froze!
