What time getting off work Wednesday?

I getting off soon my kids done with wrap around Pr-K. I only have six kids coming in. I should be gone before 5.00 p.m.

Our company director, not my boss but my boss' boss, who is EXTREMELY cool, is letting everyone out at 1PM tomorrow :woohoo: I love that woman!

If I was back to work already, I would be getting out at 6, which happens to be my regular time. But anyone who works 3 on don't have to come in and they get a full days pay.

About noon (on Tuesday :teeth:). It's nice being your own boss!

3:30 instead of 4:30 but we are closed on Friday

Normal time which is 3 pm. I have 3 hours of vacation time left, but if I don't stick around and finish up a project, me and another guy will need to split shifts to finish it. He has to get his kids on the bus and off the bus and my wife works evenings so I have to be home. That would put me working the midnight shift and after being away from midnights for 10 years, I don't think I could do it, LOL.

This time of year is tough because we usually get dumped on with a lot of specialty orders it seems and we have a half week break for Thanksgiving, then a few weeks later we shut down for 3 weeks for Christmas. Automotive supplier so we follow what the auto industry does which is 2 week summer shutdown for the 4th of July and 2-3 weeks shutdown in December over Christmas and New Years.

I took off on Wed. to get a head start on my cooking. Otherwise it would have been a regular work day. However we are closed on Thurs & Fri.

I took the day off since I'm going out of town. We normally teach till 11. I got tired of spending all afternoon driving through Los Angeles traffic to get to Arizona, so hopefully by leaving early in the morning I'll miss it.

Ohhhh the irony.

I work Mother's hours, 9 - 2:30, in a small office with 9 people two of whom are the co-owners and where only one employee is full time.

Every time we have a holiday the next day, if the office is quiet, whichever of the owners is working that day will leave for lunch around 10:30 and not come back, then he'll send an e-mail in the afternoon, usually around 2:00, saying we can all leave early - at 3:00 :lmao:

My company usually lets us knock off around 3pm, but to be honest, not much gets done after about noon.

It's one of my favorite days of the year, because we wind up spending the afternoon just enjoying each other as colleagues. It's better than any of the "team" events they plan for us.

Years ago I used to work in the transportation dept of a big major company. The boss of that dept was kind of dense. He would require us to stick around until normal closing just in case there were last minute shipments that had to be made or traced.

The sad thing about it was the rest of the company would shut down at 1:00 pm along with all the other companies we did business with. He also made us all work the week between christmas and new year. That week we would play cards and do puzzles. Nothing was happening.

Boy were we happy when he left!!!

I took a floating holiday for Wednesday this year. However, we are normally open until 8pm and they're closing at 4pm this year.

Thursday and Friday we're closed and both are paid holidays for us.

It all depends on the producer I am working with. He may get a half day. Although, I commute with DH and he has to work a full shift, so if I get done early I may spend the rest of the afternoon picking out my new health insurance and 401k funds. Fun fun!

Too close to month end and we have new software with problems. I'll probably be there until 7pm at least!
