What time do Friendship boats to Hollywood Studios start running?

If I'm staying at the Dolphin and want to take the Friendship boat to Hollywood Studios (I'll be there in the blazing heat, so I don't want to take the walking path), what time do they start running in the morning? I'd like to make it to morning extra magic hours at DHS if at all possible, but I'm not sure if the boats run that early.

I think they start like 45-60 min before park opens. Last year b/4 starwars we were waiting for it on an EMH day and I think they were just running behind that we decided to walk. Of course by the time we got to the bridge going to the BW from YC we could see the boats headed to the location. We made it to HS just a min or two b/4 the boats. I think we got there to wait for the boats at 7:10, decided to walk at 7:20 and got there at like 7:35. Gates opened at 8.

Wait until you see how hot the boats are!


We just got back recently from a trip to Disney staying at BWI. I noticed that they don't keep the boats as cool as they use it. We chose to get off at the Swan/Dolphin and walk back to BWI, just to avoid having to ride the boat to YC/BC first. Luckily, you're the closest stop to DHS.


I remember the days when there would be condensation on the windows of the boat from the AC. Didn't experience that this last trip!
