So I know that you can book your FP attractions starting midnight 60 days before your arrival. Just wondering what time you are planning on going on the computer to book yours? i.e. Are you / did you stay up until midnight , or wake up early, or just book at your convenience? And what time of year are you coming? e.g. we are coming 3rd week in Oct so not the busiest time of year but not the slowest either.

PS - I am still in the planning stage, but do have some popular ones such as Anna and Elsa, Soarin, Toy Story Mania

I woke up at 6am on Friday 6/6 (my 60 day mark). Got what I wanted with no problem (Test Track, Soarin, TSMM, Mine Train.

Then, last Monday, I was able to take advantage of the glitch when they re-tiered Epcot and HS attractions and was able to have 2 Tier 1 attractions at those.

Then, this past Thursday or Friday, I split up our group and nabbed a FP+ for Anna and Elsa for my daughter and myself. So that was a week into my FP+ selections and I was able to get one for them.

I don't think you need to get up early but if you have a lot of schedules to work around (ADRs) I would get on it on your first day you're able to.

Good luck!

I made my fp+ last night, right at midnight eastern when my 60 day window opened. My trip is in august but my stay is split...the first portion off site, the last few days on site. So some of my fp+ choices last night were only 54 - 59 days out. I got everything I wanted. The only thing I did notice was that Anna and Elsa had no morning or early afternoon availability on my earliest Mk day. Tsmm was plentiful, 7dmt was plentiful. The parades were available. Hope this helps!

I'll be waiting up. I'm usually up at that time anyway. Midnight sounds just fine to me. 6 AM makes me want to cry. ;)

When the 60 days out arrived, I started booking fp+ at 11pm central time and worked on them until I got them just right. That ended up being at 5am in the morning.

I tried to make mine at midnight, but the Disney software was not working so I had to stay up until around 2 for it to work (I believe it was not working for many). I only made reservations for my biggies--7DMT, Anna and Elsa, and Belle's experience--which were my fast passes for my 1st day. Another group going with us made their's at the exact same time. I was able to get an afternoon Anna and Elsa FP+, while they, who clicked at around the same moment, could only get an evening one. So my experience with those seems to be that around the beginning of your trip it's lucky if you can get an early one.

I didn't book any of my other FP+ because I am torn on whether I want to be so planned out yet! Also, we are three parties going together so it's been hard figuring out what we want to do together (including dining)

Holy frijoles!! I thought the 11pm central sounded good, but straight thru til 5am made me a bit nauseous! I'm heartened by the easier stories, but I've got a group of 12 traveling together, so I'm quite afraid of my possible "worst case scenario"

I made mine when I remembered, usually between 8 and 10 in the morning, 30 days before each day of our trip (AP holders staying offsite). We are going July 4th week and I got FPs for every ride we wanted. 7DMT was the only one where I didn't get the exact time I wanted, but I was still able to book it for 2 different days.

Don't worry too much. It wasn't hard to get the hang of scheduling them, and the times that I wanted for the days that were all set in advance were always available. It's that I sat there and re-thought a couple of days during those 6 hours. That took some time. I think I dosed off for a few minutes as well.

I mean "dozed off."

I made mine at 6 am pacific time on my 60 day mark and got everything I wanted

We stayed at a resort in late Feb/early Mar and did not pick up our tickets until we were at WDW. We made our FP+ the day before we went to the parks and had no problems. I hope it stays that way for off season touring.

Made mine at 3:00 pm on the first day... no midnight, no six am. Got everything I wanted for when I wanted. Includes A&E and 7DMT etc.

OP here. Thank you all. I guess I'm a bit anxious for getting Anna & Elsa (my DD would go crazy...but no way I'll stand in the regular stand by line). During our trip, we'll have 2 MK days with dinner ADRs so could book for either one of those, but on one of them we are a bit restricted as we have BBB in the afternoon (but I don't think this blocks off too much time). And of course, also want to get one for Soarin at Epcot and Toy Story Mania at HS (have yet to go through MK attractions in detail so not sure what we'll want there outside of A&E)

One question...is FP+ like ADRs where at 60 days before your arrival you can book FP for all of your trip? Or do can you only book exactly 60 days prior?

PS - I am NOT a night owl so I'm actually one who prefers to get up early such as with the ADR booking than stay up late...but would do so if this is the best strategy

I made my FPP reservations 30 days out, and the only thing not available was A & E, but that was not an issue for my family.

I was able to book what no problem this morning @ 5:00 am Eastern working around Lunch & Dinner reservations. We're a group of 3 so it probably helped.

Do FP+ reservations book like the dining reservations, in that you can book for your whole trip on your 60 day mark? Or do you have to get up each morning and book for the corresponding day?
