alright, I've been around long enough to understand most of the DIS inside jokes.

I get the tag fairy, I even whined loud enough to get my own tags.
I know about booing- even got booed myself.
I participate in the daily riddle thread (if I know the answer)
I've read the poo watcher thread (in one sitting in its' entirety)
I even know about the couple eating corn out of a can on the front steps of city hall.


but what is with the Chachi love here on the Dis? I don't get it. yes he was cute. 25 years ago.

can someone explain? yet another thing that pesky job thing gets in the way of, I've missed something important on the Disboards.....

L107angel loves chachi- and I don't know if she got her chachi taken away, or removed by the Tag fairy; at any rate, as punishment, the tag fairy started giving chachis to everyone. And then started giving out other Happy Days characters, as well as giving away Angels tags. So, before long, all kinds of people had new pics in their sigs.

ANd I got the Fonz.

ETA- sorry Angel. I'm sure it'll all be back to normal and the punishment will stop soon. No more giving chachi to otters...

I'm so glad you asked because I thought I was loosing it. I noticed the Fonz in someones siggie and wondered what it was about. Then all the threads about Chachi............ I missed a few days of lurking and was lost, the diz isn't like a soap opera, if you miss a day here you really do get lost.

I've gotten tags and I've never been boo'd.

But I have met Chachi and played with him. Way back when he still lived in Brooklyn. My Aunt & Uncle lived on the same block and I knew him when. I'm sure he doesn't remember me, but I have to say he use to irritate me to no end.
