What straw may break your camels back?

Honestly? Only if they priced me out of being able to afford going.

If the new Fast Pass system isn't available to non-resort guests. We would always stay off property because we are Hilton Grand Vacation Club members and it's close to free for us to stay at an HGVC property. I don't mind if we have to pay to use the new Fast Pass system, but if it was only for resort guests, we wouldn't go back to WDW. The same would be true of DL implemented a similar system/policy.

I should add a disclaimer...our first trip to WDW is scheduled for later this month. :)
I've been often and I agree with you. I won't go back if I can't even purchase fastpasses in the future and I won't be forced to stay onsite for only that reason. We'll see what happens. :confused3

I stayed in WDW hotels all the time. Did all of them. Did a bunch of club level.

Then we just couldn't decide on which hotel and were browsing choices offsite. We decided, "What the hell. Let's try a three bedroom condo for $100/night. If it sucks, we can always go somewhere else."

The stays in WDW hotels have been few and far between since we found out how much more relaxing it in condos and houses. It's a much better vacation and a much, much, MUCH cheaper one, too. :)

My camel collapsed a long time ago, lol.

Been my system for years. I love Disney. That is why I go so often, but individual "perks" are not the reason. I go because I love the place, it makes me feel young and lets me forget the cares of the world.

It seems lately most "guests" are not able to do that. They bring the world in with them, Fastpass, Transportation, Free Meals, ADR's...all of it causing stress and unnecessary planning.

I have stayed off-site all but once in the 30 years that I have been going there. I was there for many years before Fastpass was ever heard of...still liked it enough to keep coming back. Have made only one ADR in all those years and that was only because on one trip there were 11 of us. Always took my own car and just considered parking fees to be part of it.

Free meals? Nothing in life is free, so I don't see the value especially when I am forced to use their service and limiting my choice. It takes only a few minutes to drive off-site (actually less time then waiting for a bus, most of the time) Afternoon rest breaks are easy, dining is simple just decide what you want and go there...no ressies necessary!

Early or Late extra hours makes those parks too crowded. I go to parks that don't have that on that day and do everything with a lot more ease.

Enjoying Disney is simply a state of mind. As long as I still enjoy it, I will continue to go. When that stops, (hopefully not until after I'm dead) I will stop going and the camels back will be broken.

For me, it would be when they finally price me out. We didn't go for years because I always thought it was $$$. Then we had Give a Day tix so said, let's just GO for a quick 3 night budget weekend. We had 1 free day and then purchased 1 more day.

We fell in love and rebooked and went again just 2 short months later, now for a 10 night full experience. I found it relatively inexpensive and overall a great deal with free dining. Incl. tips, we spent $2500 for everything at a Value, incl an upgrade to DDP.

In comparison, our cruise this year, which wasn't even half as much fun, was about $2500 for 5 days.

Pricing is worrying me though. Our WDW trip this year will end up being about $3500. It is for 12 nights but it's still a big jump from just the year before with most things being about the same (Value, Free Dining with upgrade to DDP).
