What songs do you have on your IPod that you think nobody else has?

I've got both "Russians" and "Romeo and Juliet" on mine. :thumbsup2

I would be VERY surprised if anyone else on the DIS and the 2nd Buggles CD "Adventures in Modern Recording" on their iPod. :)

I have a few that I will fall over if anyone else has:

Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot/Caramba
Playa Blanca/Afric Simone
Don't Stop / Rodway

The first song is something they used to play in the early 80's on WLOL in Minneapolis back when Heinz and Berglund were the DJs. It is hilarious and I have had a tape off the radio for years. Then I found it online last year.

Second song was the theme song of a Club Med in Mexico that I went to as a child. I had the 45 and I wanted it on CD. FINALLY found it.

The last song I had been looking for for over 25 years and then through the wonders of the internet I found a guy in the Philippines who had it and he e-mailed me the mp3. :worship:

I have a bunch of others that are not so obscure, but I'll still be surprised to hear someone else has:

Clones/Alice Cooper
Nobody Said it was Easy/LeRoux
Going Down/Greg Guidry
It's Inevitable/Charlie
A little bit of Soap/Nigel Olsson
This night won't last forever/Michael Johnson
Take a Little Rhythm/Ali Thomson
Going to the Top/John Waite

I have nearly 4000 songs on my iPod -- I could list a LOT more.

I'm a HUGE Alice Cooper fan, and I have Clones and many other things on my iPod by him. I specifically came in here wonder if someone would mention his stuff. It, along with Identity Crisis are on my Half marathon play list.

I have a lot of Billy Squire too. I am a child of the 80's after all!!!

I just went onto Itunes and bought Lonely is the Night. The 80's were great, weren't they?

Billy Squire:
"Lonely is The Night"
"My Kind of Lover"
"Rock Me Tonight"
"Everybody Wants You"

Other great 80's songs
Eddie Money-I think I'm in Love
Foreigner-Cold as Ice & Head Games
Anything by Loverboy
REO Speedwagon
.38 Special

Ahhhh, good times!!!

The radio station I listen to is also a Billy Squire fan... I can count on hearing The Stroke at least four times a week (not that I'm complaining!)

My all-time favorite band! I'm going to see them in concert on the 24th!!!

My obscure songs: Lydia, the tatooed lady--groucho marx
When I'm cleaning windows--george formby

Regular songs: I've been everywhere--johnny cash
God's gonna cut you down--johnny cash
Songs from Wicked the musical, songs from Disney movies, the monorail spiel...you know, please stand clear of the doors.

Hmm, I have some really random songs on my iPod. Everything from Disney tunes (like bibbidi bobbidi boo) to 80s music (hair bands and not so hairy singers alike), to modern day punk/goth to good ole cowboy country like Chris LeDoux, and an all time fave, the Grease 2 soundtrack.

Probably my most random song right now is called "Gay Bar." Anyone else have that one? :lmao:

Oh yeah we recently added some nerdy songs from my 12 year old skating rink days, like "the humpty dance" by digital underground. Love that one!

All Over You by Live, Buddy Holly by Weezer, Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance, and of course every song from The Who and Pink Floyd.;)

We have the Buddy Holly, and MCR songs on mine too, per my son's request. We have other stuff by them too.

I don't have any Loverboy, but I have all the other stuff you mentioned. I got a hold of Squier's "Enough is Enough" a few years ago. I had the cassette in high school and wanted to get "Shot O' Love", "Love is the Hero", "All we have to give", etc on CD. Got all that on the iPod now.

The first list of songs I mentioned only 'Clones' got an 'I have that too' response. Just thought I'd throw out a few more-

Dancing in Heaven/Q-feel
Stay the night/Ben Orr (RIP :sad1: )
Right on Track/The Breakfast Club
It's only love/Cheap Trick
One and Only/Chesney Hawkes
Love Changes Everything/Honeymoon Suite
Good Souls/Starsailor
Romeo's Tune/Steve Forbert (had this BEFORE Keith Urban did his cover)

I'm embarrassed but love it anyway (I blame the sleep depravation that comes with having newborn twins for this one. )

Nobody wants to be lonely -- the version with Ricky Martin and Christina Aguilera

I am sure someone has -

Dizz Knee Land/Dada

too bad they don't have the studio version on iTunes though. I had to buy the CD to get it.

OMG I used to LOVE that Chesney Hawks song! I do not have it on my iPod, but do have his cassette tape somewhere from back in the day! I haven't heard it in so long!

OK, I bet no one else has Juice Newton - "the sweetest thing", and "angel in the morning". My favorite Johnny Cash - "Sunday morning coming down". John Denver's best love song "For you". Dolly Parton's haunting ballad "I will always love you".Classic 60's anthem "Downtown" by Petula Clark. Oh, and so many more because i am old :)

LOVE "Mary's Prayer". I have that too. I'm a big DD fan but I don't know that I have a live version of that song. What is it from?

Thanks for the reminder of "Six Underground" -- always liked it but never bothered to download it.

The Seventh Stranger live is from Arena, their live album. It's the best DD song of all time!
