2)BALLAD OF NEW ORLEANS by Johnny Horton.
During our last road trip, I had just finished my midnight to 5am driving shift and was exhausted! As I was falling asleep, this song came on over the radio and my father in law started singing it. It was the strangest song I had ever heard. My husband was arguing with him that there was NO way this song was popular back in 1958 or 59. I was in a delirious state of mind thinking WHAT IS THIS SONG?????

It has become a song to play during long road trips.
