I'm looking for good snack ideas. We'll be staying 8 nights and I'm sure we'll be sick of eating out half way through the trip!

We'll have a fridge in the room, and since I want to do a towncar pickup anyway, we'll add a food stop.

I'm thinking milk, cereal, bread, pb&j, and diet pop/water. But beyond that I'm drawing a blank. I figure we'll be having breakfast more than anyother meal.

Also, sugestions should try to be low carb/low sugar, BF is type 2 diabetic, and all the eating out will be bad enough!!!

Thanks!

How bout baby carrots, or a veggie mix that you can get for parties, I'm sure you can get that in a smaller size too. Fruit also, Tuna Snackers, which are ready made tuna with mayonnaise and a packet of crackers and a plastic spork for spreading.....I can't think of anything else right now, but will come back when I do.

HAVE FUN!!!

Low carb options - if you like them, you could store beef sticks in a fanny pack to snack on throughout the day - now some also comes with cheese - as long as it would last in the heat.

I know that this isn't really low carb, but packets of crackers and cheese/peanut butter would be easy to carry and snack on as well.

maybe cheese sticks - string cheese, or the cheese already in cubes that you can buy - that could work as well.

Wow, good idea's so far! Thanks and keep 'em comming!

I plan on picking up boxes of Cracker Jacks.

We always get fruit. Grapes and Bananas.

Bagels and cream cheese.

Mini muffins

Pop tarts

graham crackers

instant oatmeal (use the coffee pot in room to heat water)

cheese and crackers

pretzels

That's all I can think of now.

If you get Grapes freeze them they will last longer at the parks and there very Yummy that way.
If your carrying a cooler to the parks you can buy coldcuts and make sandwiches or even if your spending a day by the pool you can eat them there as well.

and found individual serving sized packages of baby carrots in the produce section. We also brought granola bars. Oranges travel well (you can bring a plastic knife or get one from a snack stand).
