what size evc to rent for 6ft man

Hi I need to rent an ECV for my dad for our october trip. The thing is he is 6ft tall but is under 2oo lbs. He will not be going to the parks but he needs it to get anywhere. walking 100 ft is his max (kidney failure). I want hm to be comfortable with his height however the second thing is we need it to be able to transport as we are at wedw for 5 days then vero beach for 5 and he will need it there to. would the go go be too small? He has never used one and he will not go to a store locally to sit on one. any suggestions on what model for 6ft person that it easy to transport.

If you have not already looked, post 2 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread has a list of companies that DIS posters recommend for renting ECVs and wheelchairs from off-site companies.
I would suggest contacting some of the companies and ask them the same questions you asked here to see what they recommend.
You can use that along with whatever advice you get from posters here.

thanks sue I read the FAQ it was very helpful i went with apple..

i was looking for feedback from someone tall that the go go or similar poortable model was comfie or not. I will call but I was hoping hto hear feedback from someone that has used it rather than someone trying to rent it to me

I do know that the seat height on the Go-Go can be raised or lowered by pulling a pin. I have this scooter and I am 5'4" with the seat at the lowest level. I would think if he adjusts the seat height, he will be just fine.
