What show does your SO watch...

Thank heavens DH doesn't watch any kind of sports. He is very fond of the History Channel. I like most of those shows, too, but I swear that one day I caught him watching a show called, I kid you not, The History of the Stick. I still give him a hard time about that one.

He's an engineer so he loves shows that illustrate how things work. He'll watch shows about medieval siege weapons and how they can be made today. Do we have a yawn smilie on here?

He also has no clue about movies--he will constantly pick some movie that's not even a B movie--more like D movies. There are a lot of these on the Sci-Fi Channel. I'll come into the room, ask him what he's watching, and he'll say, "It's stupid. Will you find something I'll like?"

Battlestar Galactica...I just can't STAND that show...and if I hear the word Frak one more time... I truly think my head will explode!!

He also watches that Pride Fighting stuff. You know, where the guys beat the ever loving crap out of each other...drives me completely insane!! Our DVR is full of that crap...lol

But he doesn't bug me much about my American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, or whatever other reality show I choose to watch, so I don't complain too much!

There apparently ARE negatives to having satellite TV.

My DH will watch ESPNews to watch the ticker get updated on the bottom. Usually when the Red Sox are playing. They repeat their broadcast every half hour, so it gets really annoying to hear the same stories over and over again. He also likes to watch really stupid B (or even C) old horror movies. Drives me nuts.

It WAS Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, then I watched season 1 of each, and now we are both hooked! Battlestar Gallactia too we both watch now.

I think we're the only ones in America who don't watch American Idol, Americas Got Talent or any of those other reality shows.

My DH will flip through every channel and settle on THE most boring bit of crap he can possibly find. The History of the Jeep, Bowhunters Annonymous, Fly Fishing, Hunting, How they make scrap metal......Anything to drive me crazy Thank goodness we have 5 TV's and I can escape the madness!! I have, on occasion, gotten him to sit down and watch Miami Ink with me or sometimes Hell's Kitchen..........

For the most part, I don't mind the shows DH watches.

DH & DS recently started wrestling together. It is on at least 3 times a week, for a total of 5 hours a week! 5 HOURS! We DVR it, so we watch a little bit just about every night. I don't mind wrestling, but 5 hours starts to get to me.

I don't mind most of the shows dh watches... Survivor, Fear Factor, CSI, Vegas... I like travel channel... most of the investigative shows... tired of cops... some idiot getting arrested..oh boy!

My DH loves to watch Spanish speaking channels. The problem with this is he doesn't speak Spanish. How can you watch hours of Spanish TV when you don't understand a word?

Let me tell you about a little oddity my DH and I share. He and I watch everything together because we have the same tastes.

Us too. There are a few shoes that he doesn't like that I do (when I watch them, he plays a video game).

I forgot to mention that my dbf likes to watch Supernanny, even though he doesn't have any kids. (or maybe this isn't so weird...I just figured that show was more for people who have uncontrollable children like I do )

He also likes chick flicks, because "they have good story lines." I don't mind that so much though.
