Anyone know a detailed list of what we should be bringing or what we need that the apartments dont have? I just wana know in case I can buy stuff before arrival!

This is the list from the college program website, it covers pretty much everything:
* Set of linens and bedding (twin-size sheets, pillow, blanket, towels, etc.)
* TV, DVD player and a coaxial cable
* Stereo (small)
* Toaster
* Coffee Maker
* Phone card
* Answering machine
* Cordless phone (The phone provided in the apartment has a cord.)
* Cell phone (Check with your current provider for coverage information.)
* Alarm clock
* Beach towel, suntan lotion and/or sunscreen
* Camera and media storage cards or film
* Casual clothing
* Professional clothing (Please refer to the Disney Look Guidelines for assistance.)
* Sweater or jacket
* Dress shoes
* Combination lock for the locker in your bedroom
* Computer with Ethernet card
* Original employment eligibility documents
* Cosmetics and toiletries
* Credit card and traveler’s checks (if available)
* Health insurance information
* Personal medications, including prescription drugs, if needed
* Writing paper, envelopes and pens
* Renter's Insurance Information

I would also recommend bringing ear plugs and a sleeping mask, if your a light sleeper. You and your roommate may have complete opposite schedules and they might like noise and what not. this was the main arguing point with my roommate.. well really the only one.

the things that my roomies and I discovered to be very useful :

A floor (or table) fan for the bedroom. It helps cool things down in the summer and it blocks out some noise when you sleep.

A mattress pad... you WILL want it. Although after some shifts I was so tired that I could have slept on a jagged bed of sharp nails and I would have slept like a baby, haha!

Things from home... pictures, small decorations... it helps the homesickness.

A computer, laptop preferably

a wireless router (but WAIT till you get to FL b/c someone else might have packed one :-) )

stuff to wait to buy in FL are things like cheap lamps, cheap book shelfs or end tables for TVs, etc...

gosh i had this HUGE list back in 09 when I was a CP and I've lost it since...

and if you think it will be an issue, then masking tape and a permanent marker to mark your food. It wasn't a problem for my apartment, but i know some people who had BIG issues with other roomies stealing their food.

Yeah the website pretty much covers everything, maybe even more than you need because it's pretty easy to pick up cheap replacements for home comforts at Walmart. One thing we bought that turned out to be the BEST investment ever was a Toaster.

Toast. Toaster Strudel. Bagels...everything. We loved our toaster dearly, lol.

My one suggestion is to not bring to much clothes. Especially Disney Look business attire. I knew I was going to take a class so I brought not a ton but a good variety of business clothes. I hardly wore any of it and it just took up space in the closet. You only go to class once a week....

Other thing that you should really limit yourself in bringing: Disney memorabilia. You will end up purchasing a TON of little things over your multiple month program. If you don't bring any with you, you will have more room to bring the stuff you buy back.
