What should my 100th coaster be?

I'm approaching my 100th coaster and I'm leaning on making it X at Six Flags Magic Mountain. However, I was debating some others. Out of my list, which one would you choose or do you have another option?

Because the Beast was one of my first roller coasters (real ones) I ever rode, I had to go with it. It may not be as exciting as some, but it sure is a classic!!!

I am partial to THE BEAST at Kings Island. You will not be disappointed. Our family has season passes there. Maybe I could ride it with you? You do hold your hands up, or I will not ride.

Tough choice.... X is the one coaster I may just have to make a speical trip by myself to ride..... but then again I have riden the Beast already

Have you thougth about DeJa Vue at 6 flags Great American (in Illinois) THAT is one EXtreme coaster!

Barry, have you ever seen the XLC at King's Dominion? I am not a big thrill ride fan, so keep that in mind but the XLC is "not in THIS lifetime" too much for me!!!!! Friends who are coaster lovers have told me that the XLC is totally awesome, but totally short! It is over in the blink of an eye (probably a good thing since you can't breathe during the ride because of "G forces") and they get frustrated by that. I have seen the torture machine up close and personal. Ya know how people usually scream these primal screams on roller coasters? The XLC....not a sound...completely silent. Verrry weird since it terrifies me just to watch the thing! But you see, they CAN"T scream! It is physically impossible to eek out a scream because of the "Gs"!!! Oh yeah...sounds like fun to me! LOL!Just a little info to help ya make your decision. Better you than me man!!

Barry, I have to vote fot the Superman cosster at 6 Flags New England. It has unbelievable air time!

Of the # you mentioned in your poll, I really don't know which one to say because, believe it or not we haven't ridden any of them yet. : Let us know when you plan to do them. Maybe we'll come alonng for the ride. BTW, ACE is having their Coaster Con next year at Busch Gardens Williansburg & Kings Dominion. We plan to go to that. Maybe you can arrange your schedule to ride your 100th coaster at Coaster Con!

I don't see how in the world you can ride them! I have never even got the courage to ride Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, or RnR. I tell myself courage, courage, courage! And then chicken out!

X is closed. There was a steel stress fracture, and the company that made the steel went bankrupt so there is no way of fixing it. It is a great ride, i was able to ride it in January before it broke.

Deja Vu at Six flags magic mountian (CA) is extremely good though, its my new fav.

I would make it either x of beast. Except that X hasn't been running for two months and isn't likely to be working again soon (stress fractures on train, arrows too busy filing chapter11 to fix it). If you ride the beast,ride it @ night, in the back row. Other possible choices would be Ghostrider, dodonpa, or Steel Dragon 2000. Congrats on reaching 100 (I'm at about 40).


EDIT: SDAngel101, the company that made X (Arrow Dynamics) did file for bankruptcy, but they are still around, and X will reopen in time. S&S Power(the company that makes turbo drop rides and hypersonic xlc) made a bid for Arrow. So once that gets cleared up and they merge, Arrow will work on fixing X, but it will be a while....
