what should I do regarding our anniversary?

When we check in on the 5th September it will be out 2 year anniversary since we got married at WDW.

I have told our travel agent this who said it will be on our booking.

I am hoping to get the extra disney magic that you sometimes get but wondered if just having it on our booking is enough?

(we had it was our wedding on our booking last time and they didn't relaise until we mentioned it!).

I'm sending a fax to them in 2 weeks regarding our room request, should I mention it on this?

Hi Lora, you are about 2 weeks ahead of us....we will be at Saratoga Springs for our 2nd Anniversary. We were there last year for our 1st and I arranged for a large bouquet of flowers to be delivered to the room by the Disney Florist. We found a card and bunch of balloons had been left from Cinderella & Pirnce Charming congratulating us, but it was not from the Florist, so I can only assume that the staff noticed the delivery??

It cant hurt to add it on, Disney are great at acknowledging when you spend time with them to celebrate something, so let them know.

I just wanted to say Happy Anniversary! Ours is Sept 5th, too, but we don't check in until the next day. Twenty years for us this year!

Congrats! And what a great place to be celebrating!
But I've learned that the best thing you can do regarding a special occasion at WDW is to go with low expectations. That way, any pixie dust that comes your way will be delightful and appreciated, but if (gasp!) none should come, you'll still have a magical day!
Oh, and stop by City Hall on Main Street at the MK to pick up your Mickey and Minnie wedding pins. Wear them. Some CM's will notice, as will some guests.

We will be there from Aug 31 to Sept 9 and celebrating our 22nd (it isnt actually until Sept 21, but we can't get there then.)
I'm going to arrange flowers to be delivered to the room as a suprise to my wife.
I called Disney to see what else could be done, and they made sure to add a note to our reservation.

last year me and my hubby were pleasently suprised to get an anniversary card signed by Mickey and Minnie, some balloons, and an extra friendly gretting when i checked in, it took me a while to figure out how they even knew, but i must have let slip when booking the hotel directly with them, so if you do get something think of it as a bonus. otherwise i am sure there are badges you can pick up from guest services in the parks for something like this, and then it might get noticed, or buy anniversary mickey ears to increase your chances. Best of all, just enjoy being there together
