What should I do on my B-day???

OK, so here's the deal. Our trip was scheduled for 3/25-30 and my b-day is the 31st. I was pretty bummed to have to leave the day before!

Well.....just got approval last night at work for an extra day off - so now we get to stay!!!

The big ? now is what should we do, where should we go??? Our plans are all set for the week, and this will just be a bonus free day. I know ADR's are pretty much hopeless at this point. So, what are some ideas???

Keep trying to get the ADR you want. I've read many posts where people say that space opened up after days of calling and nothing.

Be flexible -- it's your birthday! Get your birthday button on and just have a great day. Try a tour you've never done, or just ride all the rides in Fantasyland and be a kid. Have tea at the Grand Floridian if you've never done that and have wanted.

Have fun and enjoy your extra day of Magic.

An extra day of vacation, how fun! I wouldn't worry. I would keep trying. I agree with the PP and would continue to call for the reservations you want. Decide if time or place is most important and then ask about some different places and times and see what happens. People do cancel their reservations as their vacations approach as their plans sometimes change. It seems you have an open mind as to where you go that day. I am sure you will find something to really make your day.

For fun, give yourself the world! How about bringing a birthday card along with you to EPCOT's World Showcase. As you tour the pavilions you could ask the CMs if they would write Happy Birthday to you in their native language. You could also have Characters sign it. That would be a fun souvenir to cap your already planned birthday vacation.

At some point, even before your birthday, be sure to pick up your free birthday button at Guest Relations. Why not spread your birthday magic to your other days? The birthday button often attracts extra smiles and attention from Cast Members. Happy Birthday to you! I hope you have the most wonderful vacation yet!
