I think that's probably a good idea, but maybe only for half of the year. DH is a teacher, so we only go in the summer. I would pass out after ten minutes if I had sneakers on - I just get too hot too quick. It's sandals ALL THE WAY for me!
In the past, I've always brought a few pairs of flip flops from Old Navy. They come in about a million different colors and are only $2.50 a pair. They have a good sole on them, to, so wearing them for an hour or two in the parks for water rides doesn't wear your feet out. I wouldn't suggest wearing them all day, though. I made this rookie mistake for my first trip and had prickely-feelings in my feet for almost the entire trip!![]()
But for water rides or running around hotels, pools, or water parks, they'e the best. (for Airport travel too, and driving!)
Has anyone tried the adidas ayuna flip flops? I tried them on at the store and although they are not the cutest thing, they have this fitFOAM and feel like the most comfortable thing ever.
I'm debating getting these, too - they are very comfortable, but like you said, the color choices aren't all that great...... I've read a few reviews on here that people really like them so I'll probably give them a try.
