What rides do you avoid and why?

Primeval Whirl, but not because of the spinning. The seats were so uncomfortable. Everytime it spun, my legs were in pain. :confused3 Once was enough. It's kind of a "carnival" looking ride too. I expect more from Disney.

I avoid motion simulator type rides

me + teacups = my lunch :guilty:

On the other hand I love  splash mountain..
:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Its my happy place :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

The only two rides I will absolutely not go are
Stich's great escape: What was disney thinking!!!!!!!

Mission to Mars: I felt like I was having a panic attack.

I will not be going to see Stitch's Great Adventure or Sounds Dangerous again. Life is too short.

I can't ride the tea cups.

I had planned to try Mission Space for the first time this trip but now I'm a bit afraid.

Hall of Presidents - I don't avoid because it's the perfect place for a nap!

Rapids @ AK= reason because I don't feel like walking around a park all day soaking wet in CLOTHES. I've done it once, won't do it again unless we're about to leave directly afterwards. LOL

Simulator rides...kind of boring, once you've been on one, you've been on them all.

Hall of Presidents and Country Bear Jamboree...same as above, once you've seen it, there's nothing too exciting about seeing it again.

Grand Prix Raceway...whhy wait in line to drive a little car that goes 10 mph? If I wanted to drive, I'd get in my own car without having to wait in line and go 80mph.

Magic Kingdom:

*All of Toontown. My party consists of two adults. Though my SO recently discovered Goofy's Barnstormer and now wants to go on it for some inexplicable reason...

*Astro Orbitors. Size issues. I don't fit comfortably in the ride vehicles. I don't see how anyone over the age of 10 could. :teeth:

*Main Street Vehicles. Never been on this. Don't even know where it is.

*Snow White. This is just a dumb ride.

*Dumbo. Just not my cup of tea...

Speaking of tea...*The Mad Tea Party. This is the only ride that makes me physically ill.

*The Hall of Presidents. We usually see it once every few trips.

*Liberty Belle boat. Never been on it but want to. Just never seem to make it a priority.

Indy Speedway. I just do not see the attraction of car rides.

***********************************
Epcot :
*Test Track. I just do not see the attraction of cars, and I think TT is a boring ride.

*Circle of Life movie. Never seen it. Never looked that interesting.

*Living with the Land. I think it's okay once in a while but not interesting enough for every trip.

*Innovention. Boring.

*World Showcase movies in France, Canada & China. Seen em once. No need to see em again.

*Mexican Boat ride. Boring & Outdated.

************************************************
MGM Studios :

*Backlot tour. Boring after the first time.

*Playhouse Disney. No kids.

*B&TB show. See it once every few trips.

*Sounds Dangerous. I don't even know how to describe in words how ridiculously stupid that attraction is. I don't know what they were on when they thought this was a good idea.

*Great Movie Ride. Once every few trips. Otherwise, we are sick of having CMs who just don't get into the fun of it. :(

*********************************************

AK :
*Dumbo like Dino ride : I don't even know what it's called. But it just doesn't seem that fun to two adults.

*Dino Dig. Kid's thing.

*Kali (we skip it only in the cold months)

************************************************

We also usually skip the water parks. I'm just not a big fan of water rides.

I will ride everything but Mission Space. I didn't really get sick but I did feel weird. I rode it before a couple of times but since the incident this past May/June? with the little boy, I am afraid of it now. I rode Primeval Whirl for the first time last May. I liked it but it seemed very rough, I will try one more time and see how I like it. I usually love all rides though.

for me:

TOT-had a really bad experience, hate drops
RnR-use to like it but got first row and well never went on it again
Space Mountain-got first row of second car enough said (see a pattern?)
Astro Orbiter-too high
Snow White-went on it once when i was 5 i was, tramitized of it now
Indy-the line takes forever!
well not a ride but Tom Sawyer Island- I don't like the way they use to get over there (the raft thing too afraid of falling in the water) and theres no rides there whats the point?
Hall of Presidents-really ill go on it every 2 years or if i need a nap i think its boring

I think that is it
Splash

I would like to avoid the boat ride it Mexico. It just bothers me! But my kids like it so I go on it anyway. :boat:

When I was a kid, I loved all the thrill rides. But over the years I've developed a very queasy stomach and a fear of heights that has changed my whole riding pattern. Now I avoid:

Space Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
(Splash Mountain is still do-able)
Mission Space
Body Wars (guaranteed to make me sick for the rest of the day)
RnR
ToT
Primeval Whirl

I have always avoided Star Tours, however I recently read that you can ask to do it in a non-motion car. Anyone know if this is true? I'd love to do the ride but I know that the simulator motion will do me in.

I'm hoping to do Soarin' when we go in November but a little worried. Has anyone with a fear of heights and tendency to motion sickness tried this? How bad is it?

Teresa

Mission Space--I am clausterphobic, and trust me, you would not want to be next to me during a panic attack! :scared1:

All of the circle-vision movies. I love Star Tours, I can do ToT, but for some strange reason those movies make me dizzy!

I avoid:
"It's a small world" - It is to annoying
Stitch - Was not worth my time
Indiana Jones - i have seen it to many times

I liked Soarin. I don't like heights and I get queasy, easy. I started to feel a little queasy by the end of it, but because it was over I was fine. Every morning I started my day with Gravol. If we kept going all morning I didn't get tired, but it helped me make it through the rides.

Kali River- just not worth it
Backlot Tour- boring
The Filiment ride in Epcot (sorry don't remember the name, I've blocked it out! :p )

Not ride Mission Space!???????? No way, we ride it 20+ times a trip and usually severl in a row! I love it and my finance would ride it all day if i'd let him.

Body Wars..ughhhhh

Mission Space..not worth the rest of my day to recover...if we would have had to come back to earth my DH would have...well not had a pleasant experience.

Stitches great adventure....I think one other poster worded it best "What was Disney thinking??" The worst ride ever.
