What rides/attractions do you never seem to make it to?

There are plenty of things we skip because we have no interest, but there are some things I'd like to do, but we never seem to get there:

MK: Riverboat, Astro Orbiter, the People Mover (!!!). We just don't spend a lot of time in Tomorrowland. My youngest has always been too scared of monsters to do the LaughFloor, but I'm hoping that we'll finally be able to do it the next trip.

DHS: Animation Academy. We've also never tried to fit in LMA or Indiana Jones, but may try on our next trip because we're going to spend two days at DHS.

AK: Flights of Wonder. For some reason, we've always missed this.

Epcot: Maelstorm. Lines have either been too long or it's been down in the past, and then we forget to come back later to ride it. This is also the part where I confess: we've never ridden Test Track. From descriptions, it hold absolutely no appeal. It seems like it's just a car ride in a convertible to me. I can do that at home. What am I missing here?

Ditto on the Riverboat, but ESPECIALLY Flights of Wonder. It's been on my list at AK every year I think, but we still haven't seen it. I think the show schedules for Nemo and Lion King get in the way of FOW when we try to fit in the rides too.

Animation Acadamy is totally a must do for us every year though! I think you'll be very happy once you finally do it!

For me there's a difference between "never got to" and "don't care if I never got to."

MK(don't care) - Teacups, Magic Carpets, Riverboat, Tom Sawyer Island
MK(haven't) - Enchanted Tales, 7DMT, Barnstormer, Hall of Presidents

EPCOT(don't care) - Canada film, Norway film
EPCOT(haven't) - Circle of Life, America pavilion show

HS(don't care) - American Idol, Beauty and the Beast
HS(haven't) - One Man's Dream

AK(don't care) - Kali River Rapids, Triceratop Spin
AK(haven't) - Nemo, Birds of Prey show

Test Track used to be better, IMO, than it is now. Because it was themed like an actual car testing facility. Now it's just a bunch of neon lights that make you feel like you're in Tron. Essentially you're still "testing" the car's "capabilities", I just thought the original theme was better.

I agree. I liked it much better prior to the most recent refurb.

We are skipping Nemo (never seen) and FotLK (saw once) to do Flights of Wonder for the 4th time when we go in Oct- love that show!

I have never been on Astro Orbiter at MK. And it think it will be closed on our trip this summer. Oh well.

MK:
Enchanted Tales with Belle (it's pretty new so that's my excuse for now, lol! But I don't see us doing it any time soon)
Stitch's Great Escape (I did it once when it was the old Alien Encounter one though)

Epcot:
Innoventions (We've only spent maybe 30 minutes in here ever, and always vow we will make time next trip...)
Movies in France, Canada, and China (I saw them as a kid, and every trip say we are going to do it, but when we run short of time, that's what gets skipped)

DHS:
Studio Backlot Tour
Great Movie Ride
(both of these I did as kids, but not since)

AK:
It's Tough to be a Bug (heard it was scary, and it just ends up being last priority)

EP:I never have enough time to actually go through every country in WS in EPCOT. I would love to spend a whole afternoon/evening going through each country and watching the movies and just taking it all in but I never seem to have time.

I feel the exact same way.......I am determined to do this the next trip. :thumbsup2

The only attraction that I keep meaning to do "definitely this trip" but never quite get "round tuit" is Lights, Motor, Action stunt show. There are several others I've never seen, but I have no desire to see them. But LMA is the only one that I just never get to, despite my best intentions.

I am determined to watch Beauty and the Beast this time. It has become a running joke that we have never made it. When my DD was 4, we got there and had good seats. A few minutes before it started she turns to me and says "I have to go potty". I asked if she could wait and she said no. Sooo....up the stairs we went. That is the closest we have been. Every other trip the timing has never been right. But by golly, I am going next month!

We have been to WDW 6 times as a family and there are several attractions/show that we just don't seem to make it. Its not because we have anything against them and some I always say "this time we are....."

Magic Kingdom - Tiki Room, Tom Sawyer Island, Swiss Family Tree House, train

Animal Kingdom- Nemo, (finally saw Lion King the last visit)

Epcot- Circle of Life

Disney Studios- Indiana Jones, Magic of Animation, Beauty and the Beast, Lights Motor Action

Looks like its the shows or none ride attractions that we miss. I just can't keep DH and kids away from the rides. :worship::worship:

Mine is about the same except the past 2 trips we have not made it to Ellen's Energy and did make it to Indiana Jones. I still have never seen Beauty and the Beast or have not done Tiki Room, Tom Sawyer Island, Magic of Animation or Lights Motor Action

Fantasmic! We have tried to see it for three vacations now and have always not made it. This trip, we are doing it for sure!!!

You gotta see Beauty and the Beast, OP!!!!!! It's soooooo good IMO!

There are several in each park we probably haven't done for one reason or another -- Tom Sawyer Island is one from your list that came to mind -- but Fantasmic! is the one that we really want to see and just haven't been able to make it happen.

I have barely been to any of the shows. I went to Fantasmic my last trip for the first time and was amazed that I went all these times never seeing it. I loved it! I haven't been on Jungle Cruise in a while. I've never made it onto Buzz Lightyear. Basically because the line is always insane but I am making it a priority this trip.

MK:

Stitch - not interested
Country Bears - can't seem to make it
Jungle Cruise - can't seem to fit it in

Merry go round (carousel) - not interested
Main Street Vehicles

EP:

EO - not interested
Ellen - ditto
Circle of Life - didn't make

Figment - didn't make

DHS: Haven't done much here :( but want to be able to take some of these of the haven't done list

Lights, Motors, Action
Back lot
Star Tours
Idol - not interested
Animation
One Man's Dream
Muppet 3D
RnR - chicken
Jack Sparrow

AK:

Everest

We still haven't gotten to the Boardwalk!!! Even staying at the Beach Club last trip, we never seem to make it there!!!

Maybe this time??

We've never just taken a day or afternoon to just resort hop or see the Boardwalk/DTD. Every year we talk about it and every year we end up saying "It's only XX more to go to the parks another day."

At least half of the World Showcase always ends up being missed, and we don't get to Innoventions, either. Anything else we miss we basically just aren't interested in.

Tom Sawyer Island, for sure. When we get back from our vacation I get disappointed that we missed it again, but while we're there it never crosses my mind!
