What Restaurant will you NOT miss in disney?

We never miss Sci-Fi the food is good, (not mind blowing, but still very good) and the atmosphere is really fun. We got 2-3 times a trip. Tony's used to be our favorite but the funny waiters and waitresses weren't there anymore when we went back. :(

Boma's at Animal Kingdom Lodge is a must for us.
Then, Cape May Cafe, O'Hana's.

We just got back and I gained 5 pounds because of the wonderful food!!!!

Beth

'Ohana and Boma for dinner, Kona Cafe for breakfast. (I know that is 3...sorry!)

Which will I NOT miss? Easy for me.
Marrakesh- I got food poisoning there so badly I threw up on my bus coming back (luck my husband has a shopping bag he emptied and gave to me) I was mortified I was going to ruin someones shoes!!!!!I continued to throw up (and otherwise) for another 15 hours until I had to be taken to the Celebration Hospital.....

and missed the last 2.5 days of my trip- and was still feeling only so-so when I got home. That said. There's always a positive at WDW....the bellydancer was REALLY fun to watch!! I think the atmosphere is nice and dark and cool, which is perfect for a hot sunny day....and its in a great location, because you get to check other stuff out while you are on your way to it. The waitstaff was very nice and they have a great way of pouring tea.

See I can find the silver lining in ANYTHING at WDW!!

thanks again for all the great tips! I am writing these down while I do my research:-) Has any ever eaten at the California Grill? it gets great reviews in the unofficial guide? I would LOVE to eat at least one restaurant where the food is absolutely wonderful/out of the world! but doesn't cost $80 a person:-)
thanks

Just have to get in that castle when we are at Magic Kingdom. Nothing beats dining in the middle of the magic!

Also last night is at Chef Mickeys Yummy buffet and have to say our last goodbyes to Mickey and tell him we will see him next year! :)

We never miss Liberty Tree at MK and the Garden Grille at Epcot. We go to both restaurants every trip.

You guys all seem so "in-the-know", so I'm sure you'll be able to answer this for me.

Does LeCellier open for lunch? We'd like to try it, but if we can get a little less expensive meal at lunch we'll do it then.

Also, we are going the first two weeks of November, do you think we'll need PS's if most of our sit-down meals are for lunch/early afternoon?

Thanks in advance!

50's Prime Time and Boatwright's.

Of course after my last trip I have added 2 more - Boma's and Whispering Canyon.

Have a great trip.

Yes, they do open for lunch. You can check out the menus at www.allearsnet.com

Have some Cheddar Cheese Soup for me :teeth:

Edited to add - I, personally, make PS's for those I definitely do not want to miss.

Columbia Harbour House (counter service in MK) for their amazing clam chowder.

50's Prime Time (MGM) - just plain fun!

The little bakery for Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies (MGM) - can't remember the name. I HAVE to have my chocolate fix! :) (one reason i'm a runner!)

ABC Commisary - for AMAZING fish and chips! (counter service, MGM)

All the above are reasonable and moderately priced.

Our basic philosophy is we're NOT at WDW to *EAT* but to PLAY, so we eat fairly cheap to have more bucks to play!

LaCellier and Brown Derby, our two favorites. Also, Captain Jack's at the Marketplace, because of the really neat layout, right on the water, and they have great crabcakes!

Well I originally read your subject as which ones in which I would not miss if they went away. So for that I had Rainforest Cafe and Planet Hollywood.

However, upon reading your post I see it is ones you wouldn't want to miss going to... So I say,

Wolfgang Pucks and Primetime 50's cafe

Ohanas I loved my favorite place now
Nine Dragon at china epcot for lunch. I love the lunch for 2 and the Dim Sum

Those two are my favorites. I also like CRT the stuffed French Toast and Potatoes were Great And LTT LOVE the salad Dressing

We visited California Grill in the Contemporary last trip, and absolutely loved it! Particularly the sushi! The food was probably my favorite of all the meals there, although we ate in the lounge area, so the atmosphere left a little to be desired. My other favs were Spoodles and Palios.
