We are looking into booking late 2013 or Jan 2014. Probably 5 nights 6 days wanting to fit flight into budget. We have stayed at CBR it was ok not impressed with bus device. We stay on the go and will leave out early only nap/ sleep at resort . Oldest DD 9 other DD3 loves princess. Any suggestions?

We have stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and at Port Orleans French Quarter as well as Caribbean Beach. We have not stayed at Coronado, mostly due to the room contianing only one sink and a office desk and chair.

Out of all of them, we loved French Quarter due to its compactness, only one bus stop and you get dropped on first if you share service with Riverside. The resort is small but it seems so quaint and quiet, just wonderful, everything is a short walk, plus you have boat service to Downtown Disney.

Also the rooms were recently renovated, oh and another plus, you can use all the ammenities and pool at Riverside, which I liek their pool better.:beach:

While I'm a big fan of French Quarter, Riverside has new "royal" rooms which OP's daughters may like.

I have found watching video tours of the resorts helps me make a decision. I have never been to Coronado Springs, but this video make me want to go:

I also hear Art of Animation is impressive

My favorite is CBR, but as you said the bus system sucks. Unfortunately that is a common theme among many resorts. Have you considered the lower end of deluxe like maybe Wilderness Lodge?

I recently stayed at the Art of Animation and it was awesome!
Here are some videos I took while there

Cars Wing and Pool Tour - http://youtu.be/bEHo_97ABwc
The Big Blue Pool Video Tour - http://youtu.be/Sov9jQCmZoA
Little Mermaid Room Video Tour - http://youtu.be/H1Gnima3Abg

Our room was great, the pool was awesome(underwater speakers, how cool is that?) and the food court was great too. We will be staying there again for sure.

Throw my name in the Port Orleans Riverside hat. We are looking into that resort after some research. Sounds like its a really nice resort. Boat service to Downtown Disney also.
